Stitching problem with mine. Supplier replaced and I have now backed the stitching up with a cable tie so. It's not pulled apart. Great piece of kit apart from that and use it most days I climb. Perhaps 20 days a month.

Anyone else had problems. The stitching has started to come undone in the foot clip for a krab to connect to boot.

Poor show IMO. At over a hundred quid the thing has started to fall to bits already. I don't use it everyday either.

Hi Rich

I trust you are well, re the Haas where/when did you buy it from ? can you return it so we can look at it.

Hi Les.

I bought it at the APF last year. I think it was Honey's... anyway it was wherever Michael Frankenhauser was working, as I bought it from him.

See picture Les. Are you working for workware and are they the distributed for the HAAS kit?

A couple of pictures for you Les. It appears to be unravelling where the stitch was finished. Any way see what you think. Cheers

Hi Rich

I am the development manager [south] for Workware, I joined them in January, we are the Haas importer. You bought yours from Honeys, I just called Woody at Honeys who will sort out warranty for you, give him a call and email him the same pictures.

Hopefully you'll get a new one Rich.

Only just recently bought an original (pre-loved by Mark Bolam), excellent bit of kit, had been using a homemade version but this works just that little bit better. Really like the CT ascender, never seen one up close before. Cheers again Mark.

Glad you're getting on well with it Tim. The CT ascender is a pretty nice bit of kit.

I'll keep an eye on the stitching on my Velox Rich.

You are possibly snagging it when you climb into the back of the chip truck to pray to Mecca.
