Usually just work gear as I quote after work. I do however stick a pair of trainers on that aren't caked in mud as I often have to go through house and trainers are easier to slip off than undoing the laces on the boots. Have toyed with the idea of top and tails though :-).

If on the way back from a job, a clean t shirt & the mandatory squirt of deodorant- no prizes for smelling like gandi's flip flop. Oh & a smile - I like to pretend that I'm not a miserable sod ;)

If it's a full day of quotes then smart casual and clean shaven.

If it's on the back of another job or after work then in my tree gear.

I try and arrange quotes for when I'm working nearby to save additional diesel. So generally scruffy sawdust covered work gear. Tend to find people expect you to be in workwear and what you say and how you say it wins the job. That said I work in a predominantly industrial area so most people get scruffy at work!

Hi viz and helmet always in car, for site visits.

Otherwise whatever I'm wearing for work that day - boots, jeans & shirt/poloshirt. No point in being too smart clambering through the undergrowth to get a good look at the tree.
