Yeah traffic management is pretty crap especially if your on a stop go board. I have seen some road works that were managed with stop and go. One end a larger chap was sat in the van with a stop and go board sat in the top of a cone. He was using a stick to poke it round from one way to the other. I think if the fella was using any less effort he would have to give up breathing. But made me chuckle all the same

Yes Stubby, but you need plenty of time to work that slowly.

jez something wrong there they has to be a person either side of the road, a digger driver, 3 fellows looking at the whole, a tractor driver and tractor and 3 transits, minimum, over here just for cleaning alongside the side of a road.

to fix a pothole, two lollypop men, one digger, two vans, and two men to look in the hole

least thats the council near us.

Rat infested ditch to remain as council can’t afford ‘Rolls Royce’ wall. apparently our council workers are supermen they can build a rolls royce of a wall for a cemetery. there was a wall with rats in it, the council wanted 35 grand but a local contractor would have done it for 13.5 grand. so the council was going to leave it

Well it amazes me that it happens all over the place, never ever seen it round hear before, normally one man and his digger a couple of sights and that's it.

Suppose all these adds don't help, "where there's blame, there's a claim" and the new one round this way " sick holiday dot com"

That's progress for you I suppose!!
