I've just started using them. I squeeze 6 on, which increases capacity from 2.6 to 4.5 cu.m on my trailer. i swing them on and off with a little 24v 500kg swing lift winch crane. The ones i've got have tipping loops on the bottom so you can still tip if you want to. Not sure how long they'll last, as they inevitably snag on stuff, but tears don't seem to get bigger.

SWL, SF & number of lifts for tonne bags:

any bag which is to be 'lifted' comes with its SWL marked on it as well as its permited number of lifts, It is possible to buy bags with a higher SWL 0.6cu rated to 2.5 ton as aposed to 1 ton (standard) as well as bags with a higher or lower SF which dictates the number of lifts 0.6cu bags with 5lifts max (standard) and 0.6cu bags with 20lifts standard bags with higher ratings cost more money (up to £20/bag on a minimum order of 100!!!!)

all this information must be displayed on the bags by law (LOLER regs)

hope this helps
