Anybody got thoughts on GM 130 vs TW230??

 

 

No comparison at all, used both side by side they're leagues apart. They both have their place though, but It's like comparing a Stihl 192 and a 461

Different beasts. The tw is going to be much quicker as it's more powerful. Think about what you really need though in terms of cost vs productivity. The 130 is probably 5 k cheaper and still a blinding little chipper for what it is.

Seen and been using an st6 today, looks a solid machine. Nice thick metal and good feed rollers and hopper. Looks a good machine

Had my mk2 130 for a week gave it a good blast yesterday to see what she could do...I didn't hold back and it's perfect for me...not just the way it chips but for looks,weight and tow ability and easy use it's spot on..petrol engine so smooth a quiet...

Early ones weren't great, my cousin had one, bearings or something went badly wrong on it and they had to replace the machine. Was promptly traded in for a tw240 which was then recalled and now got the 230. I used the gm150 a couple of times and pulled in bulky hawthorn well but didn't have much throw so needed to shovel the chip

Anybody know any gm dealers with stock? Been quoted 6-8 weeks for a 130
