L200 or Navara

When you've been working in the rain you're going to have muddy boots, sawdust stuck all over you, wet dirty hands, so it's pretty impossible not to get the inside of your truck filthy dirty! In my opinion you cannot have a dual purpose vehicle in this type of work, it's always going to be a work vehicle. I'll stick to my X5 for shipping the wife and kids around in!

Well no one drives my vehicles with dirty hands! both have hand washing facilities with hot running water!

If you guys are going to tescos in your skanky old work trucks I think you should start working a bit harder so you can afford a car aswell!

I wouldn't want to use a poxy Cabstar as my number one work vehicle! you need to work harder and get a proper truck! do you get the jist, you can only have , what your budget can afford...

If you can afford to buy new, go for the new Ford Ranger, Ford spent a lot of time and money improving the Ranger and unlike the bloated new Hilux and boatlike new Navara the Ranger has a 3 ton towing capacity.

Ford have kept it real as well with the prices.

Toyota, Mitsubishi and Nissan will lose the tradesman/farmer market if they continue down the route of aiming their Crewcabs at the SUV market.

I have had a Nissan pickup for the last 3 years but when I renew i'll be getting a Ranger.

bought new but went for the navara the finish on the ranger is pants & the 2nd hand value is the same imo

The new Navara is the laughing stock of the pick up market - all that power stuffed into the engine but a reduced towing capacity!! - ha ha. Same with the other oversized idiot mobile - the Hilux. As for the new shaped L200 - what a joke.

I suppose if your worried about the 'finish' then the Navara is the right choice for you afterall. Good luck with it.

Cant belive a man that owned a Fourtrack would buy the new Navara!

Funny how the Navara is the biggest selling truck on the double cab pick-up market, I wouldn't touch any Ford commercial with yours...:scared:

Good choice Ian, when are we going to see a picture of it?

You say that in the past tense I 'still' own a fourtrack

the navara is a compromise between 4*4 & comfort with a high spec

I dont appreciate the inferance that I am an idiot

either, but then I really dont give a toss what you may think , its my money & I will spent it where when & on what I choose.

My Cabstar is brand new, cost £18k. I could easily get a 'proper' truck for that money but I don't need anything bigger.:icon14:
