L200 or Navara

Recommended Posts

Hi

Looking at getting a pick up truck second hand 2000-2004 age. Which would be better the L200 or the Navara? I've ruled out the Hilux as i'm not a fan of Toyota and i've had problems with the local dealer.

Nissan dealer is 10 mins from house and 10 from work the Mitsubishi one is a little longer about half hour each way.

I'm thinking Nissan Navara but there's lots of L200 for sale at the moment. Which is best of those two for on road use and a some but not a lot (10-20%) off road use.

Thanks

Andy

Navara, but you'll need a little ballast in the back same as most light pick ups. Navaras, or at lest the older ones were a little bouncy, ok if your lass is sat next to you with a low cut on :008:

either is better than a landrover

My landrover 130 has carried 20 people, 12 in the back, 2 on the roof and 4 on the bonnet/wings 1 passenger 1 driver and done it in extreme mud through woodland.

It also carries two ton with ease.

It winches trees over

It pulls out stumps

It pulls felled trees up bankings

It goes into woodland towing chipper and comes back out

I'd like to see either of the above do all those with serious mods. The only mod a landrover needs is a rear diff lock

There's only one motor for tree work that can do everything, maybeit on a smaller scale than a mog and thats the Landrover 130

Flak jacket fitted boys :proud:
