No one is threatening you. It was clear before the referendum that freedom of movement and unrestricted access to the single market go hand in hand. It was repeated ad nauseam. The EU is not going to change their position, why would they?

Anyone who thinks they need us more than we need them is living in dream land.

I can think of several members that have been living in that local for most of their lives. Looks like they will have to put there big boy pants and grow up.

I won't be holding my breath on that taking place any time soon. After all what would they bellyache and complain about if they were not perpetually miserable.

I think you are wrong. The Supreme Court hearing/case will start on Monday. It won't change a darn thing. We are leaving the EU, best make what plans you need to now.

Who cares about the supreme court case, thats over before it begins...

I'm more concerned about a sitting politician being unseated who previously had a 23000 majority...

This is the sort of thing that concentrate's minds in Parliament.. as it has already, Jeremy Corbyn going back to wanting an amendment before invoking article fifty....

Perhaps its havin its desired effect as we speak....

And I wouldn't be surprised if Therisa May isn't hoping for somethin to come along to save her from herself....

Whats at play here isn't just Brexit, but Britain moving away from a two party system..

Both the Tories and Labour are now terrified, I expect things to move in the next few months that will make Brexit an historical anomaly, Brexit is ending get used to it...

Are you confusing "unseated" with "resigned?"

A small technical point, but since your entire apparent theory is predicated on it, fairly fundamental.

Can't believe I'm falling for it and getting sucked in...

He was a Tory when he won with the seat, he was an independent when he lost it, do you actually understand the difference?

He won before the referendum, he was open about voting "out" the majority of his constituents voted to remain.

If he had won that would have been a real coup, his losing was no surprise, IMO.

The way you and the media try to make hay from every single twist and turn of the political world is pretty pathetic.

Brexit will happen, probable not in a way we can yet see, but it will happen. I personally still think the EU as we currently see it will implode, make our exit pretty simple :001_smile:

He was an independent when he lost!!!. what planet are you on.. the Tories didn't even put up a candidate... thus he was a Tory in all but name...

And the EU wont implode, it'll just change, from a PC bunch of cowards who run it now, to the new European..

Leaders who protect the interests of its citizens and not every third rate migrant who can fit on a boat....

When our new leaders emerge, Europe will go from strength to strength....
