Dave, please can you drop this.

I honestly don't care what people do for a living and if he chooses not to share that detail about his life, so be it

Not a chance J

I’m not asking about his occupation J nor all the details of his existence, I asked him where the coal he uses is mined on another thread. Seeing as he’s had so much to say about my use of a dc pick, the hypocrisy of me working on wind farms, my day rate for milling etc etc etc, he was asked wether he was self employed to put some context to his stance. He refused to answer that too. You want a forum full of lying BS blaggers or people who are honest.

Like your civil service department, if you find someone in the centre or right they're the token employee wheeled out to try to show look we aren't all lefty lanyard wearing types.

Going to play a game now, 'Where's wally' (or Waldorf)... Trumpy style.. Where's the African-American wheeled out to try to show he isn't a racist.

(1 in 8 are African Americans in the US general population)

The poster is the wally.

And those people he is speaking to are the military, they don't give two FS about colour as your all green.

And what did possibly the most famous black man, Morgan Freeman say about stopping racism?

so SP refusing to answer, not just this question, but multiple questions still hasn't made you ignore him. You don't have to write back when he quotes your posts.

There are dozens of people who chat on the nattering threads. It may be cruel, but if Elon had trouble on his forum he would just starve them of oxygen. You are like Elon on a smaller scale - don't be afraid, it's no harder than giving up painkillers

Unless the chasing and banter are the whole point.

At least SP will keep you company for hours on end, so much better than any AI chatbot

And equally anyone that has to write a bloody dissertation for every reply doesn't understand the subject or have the ability to explain something.

Both you and SP seem to believe you have some moral authority on a subject because you've wasted hours and weeks listening to claptrap and are effectively radicalised.

I listen to a variety of podcasts from a variety of sources. The far left stuff is quite irritating (and the far right stuff is disgusting) and clearly partisan, so I tend to largely avoid that. My go-to podcasts are (for your reference), Times Radio, The Rest is Politics (and TRIP USA), The Bulwark and a bunch of science, sport and health stuff too. I wouldn't say that is especially radical.

As for the length of my posts, I do try not to waffle and to present my arguments concisely. I can touch type very quickly if I'm on the laptop, and if I'm on my phone, I tend to dictate into my headset, which is even quicker. If I am going to make the effort to post something, I might as well do it properly.

You giving your head a wobble and stop clogging the forum up with your mental campaign would be a result.

OK, well if that's the case, just rise above it. I'm not privy to all of the details of the spat, but whatever it is, it's wearing.

There comes a certain point where it's best just to move on. We're all here voluntarily and grudge holding and personal attacks diminish the experience.

And before you say anything, I honestly don't care who started it. To quote my (and everyone else's) parents! 😄

Maybe start audio books instead or personally enjoy silence with a decent set of ear defenders before the requirement for antidepressants kicks in.

Maybe you'll not understand the reference, treat every post like a 90s text message.
