Talking of Liz Truss. We've got our very own Trumpette to look forward to this summer. She plans to free us all from the "deep state" by promoting free speech and truth. Thanks Liz.

Does anyone take Trump’s Truth Social, seriously? I can never get past the massive irony of the name.

Former PM says she wants to protect free speech after being ‘cut off at the knees’ by ‘the elite’ while at No 10

At least Richie had the decency to quietly disappear from the public eye.

I'd take her over two tier any day if the week.

Gareth, are you on a wind up this morning?!

Truss entering a social media market when the competition is Musk and Trump, I can see this as the fastest way she can bankrupt herself.

"Her attempt to create her own social media platform follows in the footsteps of Trump’s Truth Social, operated by the Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG). Investing in TMTG became a means by which individual investors showed their support for the US president. TMTG lost $400.9m (£303.5m) last year."
