Well maybe there’s a lot of truth in that, it’s funny how the astronomical covid legacy bill ain’t ever mentioned by those who clamoured for it within Labour and the price hikes caused by the war in Ukraine etc

Anyway we are where we are, I’m actually suprised that people expected anything better. Those of us who remember the last Labour liars that held power know how the Blair, Campbell, Mandleson etc characters behaved and the legacy they left behind. If Starmer manages to get through his term without taking us to war, assisting in destabilising a whole region and having the blood of thousands on his hands he will have done better than the previous Labour government. The fact he will leave us in more debt and generally in a  far worse state is a historical labour government given.

Gareth,  Reeves must be one of the most robotic individuals in a cabinet of well trained and drilled people. I read somewhere today the business secretary has never had a job in the private sector never mind ran a business, mind you has  any of the current cabinet 🤔.

I think it was in the news this week that the OBR stated that Brexit has caused a 15% reduction in export activity. Damn those experts - why didn't they warn us of this? Oh wait.....

People made a choice J based on a lot of things. There was a democratic vote 🤷‍♂️sometimes you don’t get the result you want. I’ve lived under years of SNP incompetence as an example. My own views have not changed regards exiting the huge corporate employment agency that the EU has become.

Brexit was poorly implented by people without the gumption to do what was necessary, it could/should have have been a lot different.
