Lantra cards & certificates

Hi all just a really quick question passed my Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross-Cutting in lantra on Monday & Tuesday but due to rushing totally forgot to ask the tutor when my certificate & card will arrive, Ive looked on the Lantra website & everything cant see anything, So thought ill ask you guys.

You will only receive a certificate from Lantra, however, if you undertook the NPTC assessment then you should receive both certificate and card.

When I done my chainsaw courses I got cert and card from NPTC but cert only from Lantra. I did the Lantra Quad bike course a couple of weeks ago and was told I'd get cert and card, they took a photograph for the card, the card must be a new thing.

You wouldn't get on any commercial site these days without proof of tickets.

 

Getting induced takes a couple of hours on some sites.

You just tick yes on the induction form, most the time they dont ask for proof, one exception we had was when working for Tomlinsons, I once had to fill out puwer form, breaking ground ticket and god knows what else before I could grind one stump, about 2hrs induction and paperwork and half hour grinding.

really?

 

You obviously don't do any work on big construction sites. Ticking yes on the induction form will NOT get you on any proper site.
