been a fan of Haix P'pros for a long time, my current pair are coming up to their 3rd birthday - but thinking of trying something a bit lighter...

like the look of the Andrew quickstep boots as I'm rather fond of SRT...

Pfanner also look like they could be good.

i fit between 11.5 - 12uk sizes

Anyone got any good feedback on boots?

I was thinking about this today, twice in two days I've had two significant bits of wood drop on my toe area whilst dismantling (no protection)

Bloody hurt.

Mental note, get steels.

dont like airstreams - Haix are big and clunky so thats no change for me :) - Steel toe is a must - as is chainsaw protection.

No boot comes with chainsaw protection worth a damn after a few months use, my opinion of most chainsaw protection but that's another topic.

The Andrews look a good boot a few of the guy have them here and rate them.

Like my Andrew quick steps 👍 but I'm on arbpro evo2 now, I'm not to fussed about chainsaw protection in the tree, but if I'm doing any big timber jobs I'll go back to the andrews

how the andrews for fit? im usually 11.5 but you cant buy half sizes anywhere in any climbing boot! so if they are snug a size 12 will do me fine
