I'll add another tip, for this small scale blast cleaning I have a ton bag suspended and rigged open from above which acts as a 'cabinet' and catches nearly all the blasting medium which can then be easily sieved and recycled 👍

Just remember the dust from the silica sand will rip your lungs wear a mask!!!!

There was a thread on here recently about doing battle with replacement HT caps. These hellerman mini boot stretchers are the nuts, cant get any easier than this.

Used them 40 years ago putting rubber sleeves on co-ax cables I'd soldered up. Thanks for the blast from the past.

I got these about twenty years ago, mainly for the stretch boots on battery cable crimps.

Got Erma crimps for the small co-ax's haven't needed them in years.

Were those sleeve stretching pliers not made by Hellerman, remember using them years ago on what we called Hellerman sleaving.

Got these Milwaukee impact sockets recently fits my 1/4 drive gun but 3/8 sockets. Impressed so far. Used them for loads of different jobs
