The 2511 is the one that people are using most. Stock its a bit boring, opened up its really excellent, if a little loud.

If it is like other fruit trees, don't take more than about 1/3 in any year and yes, you should be able to prune it back to a more pleasing shape. I think do it earlier in the year is better than now. As Muddy says, looks a bit dry too - some mulching around the base might help too, dig the grass back a bit to help that out.

Lou Brown started following How do people rate the ECHO top handles?

Thinking of replacing my 201TC with something new, and the echo’s have been top on my list as I’ve heard they’re super lightweight and can be tuned to be proper screamers. there’s a CS2511 and a CS362, has anyone used either of these and can confirm if they’re good for medium tree take downs etc? Or any other recommendations? Cheers

Personally Id say it was suffering from drought, particularly given the brown lawn and healthy lavender.

I have a 6 year old peach tree which is increasingly lanky year by year. I have tried pruning but the long branches remain. Can I prune much harder, or is it failing for different reasons. I am a beginner with no knowledge

Sequoia, newer style. Spent a bit of time in a skyloctec, and the sequoia is by far and away better. Can't stick the webbing bridge.

Had exactly that on my " Crocky " ported 395 . Bought a new spark unit for just over a ton and shazam ! It works again . -
Hi @Steve Bullman I wanted to temporarily remove my tip site as not in position right now to take more (without deleting) so I used the "hide" function. I can't seem to find the site again however to unhide it (when I need to!). Grateful for any advice.

Depends what software you are using. OS Vectormap in CAD is dirt cheap but lacks fine detail, I have used it for large rural estates. Mastermap usually out of the question for anything big.

Hi, I'm looking for a groundie or climber to help out with the workload. Most of our work is domestic arb, hedges felling etc. Happy to take any level of experience. To find out more please feel free to DM me or ring 07779118685. Thanks.

Have you looked at the 3rd party mapping sites - I've used emapsite and 1km squares are less than £20 last time I looked. I think they have the tree survey mapping too

Trade Descriptions Act breach! They're dismantled shelves, not planks.

You could whittle some good spoons out of them!

Hi all. I am getting prepared for starting tree surveys as I sit my PTI next month. I have a large survey coming up incorporating over 175 acres. I was wondering which maps people use to plot out new trees and plantations? Google maps/earth seems pretty limited and poor quality for larger areas and OS is eye-wateringly expensive for the map I need. Does anybody have any recommendations as to what they use? and prices too? Let me know. Many thanks. Paul.

Camp Tree Access ST. However I have only tried a few times - I am a bit OCD about not starting a new thing when the old one is still servicable, which is a Simarghu Fire. I cant stand harnesses with the silly knotted rope bridge, they get in the way and catch on everything. I've never yet wanted to adjust the length.

Assuming someone who knows what they are talking about has done the basic things like replace the spark plug and tested the old module and pronounced it dead, I would think a replacement module would solve it, Yes. -
