  1. Thanks @Steve Bullman much appreciated
  2. Hi @Steve Bullman I registered my tip site a few days ago but not showing yet... assume it takes a few days is that correct? Also, what are peoples' experience of having a tip site - is it realistic to expect some drop-offs pretty quickly or is it going likely to take months? I know - how long is a piece of string, but useful for any experiences to be shared please. Thanks, Rich.
  3. Sorry - just seen there is already a thread for this! Will move and delete this if I can..
  4. Hi there, I'm a new member on this forum and I joined to mainly get some tools advice and also register my tip site. Having registered I cannot see my site appearing on the search section of the tip site area in arbtalk. I've tried logging out and viewing but still not showing. Anyone got any good advice as I'm really keen to use this facility. Many thanks.
  5. Hi there, new here but hope you can help. I want to learn to sharpen my own chain, but a somewhat baffled by which file kit I need! Sorry if this is a basic question... I bought a 1/4 " husqvarna kit with 2x round files and 2x square and a guide some time back but only opened it today as I finally got round to trying to sharpen my chain - seems to be too small, which is somewhat annoying... no doubt my bad and lack of experience. I've checked out the Husqvarna site where I have learnt, there are many different types of file kit. Question is, which one do I need? I have attached a photo of my chain bar which hopefully gives all the details that are necessary.. I actually have an Oregon chain rather than husky.. Any help gratefully received. IMG_0043.tiff

Not Tuesdays or Fridays. Grateful if you can call ahead so I can get the tarp laid out and move the cars out of the way! Hardwood ideally, but will take softwood if I have space. Can take most logs if in manageable (approx less than 3ft) lengths.
