Morning all, Digging some shrub stumps out this morning. Front garden on a housing estate. Certain song lyrics I donβt want to hear include Jumping Jack Flash itβs a gas gas gas, hanging on the telephone by Blondie, like a virgin by Madonna, and nothing by Wet Wet Wet.

Tree Planting Per Purchase and What About VAT?
jamies johnson replied to evelynemma's topic in Trees and the Law
Tree-planting services cost ~Β£1 per tree, and UK/EU providers may charge VAT. Record it as a business expense, and if VAT-registered, you can reclaim it. - Yesterday

These ai generated posts seem to be becoming more frequent, I have wondered sometimes when I see a new post from a new poster usually regarding some kind of problem I automatically regard it as ai as is usually pointed out by others far knowledgeable than I on these matters. It must make it hard for anyone who is genuinely looking for help from the residents. my only experience of ai is from those infuriating courier chat bot/helpline/customer service things that all ask the exact same questions and seem unable to understand the problem you contacted them to solve. is there a likelihood that in the future these abominations will simply ignore humans and just create pseudo problems that they can answer themselves with no physical experience of the subject? on a lighter note was terminator just a film,,, or a prophecy

you stated "I've been toying with the idea of getting one for pleasure use, but would like a residential mooring" the definition of residential regarding moorings is,, Residential moorings, also known as liveaboard or long-term moorings, are specifically designated spots where boat owners can legally live on their vessels for extended periods. These moorings are distinct from leisure moorings, which permit only occasional overnight stays I gave you info on "residential" moorings which is what you asked for. but after your little toys outta yer pram rant, find the fecker yerself. twat.

It's really hard to predict, for sure. Technology goes in arcs and leaps, we're currently seeing the arc of development of these AI models but I've read a couple of articles about how just doing more of the same is already running out of steam - they've hoovered the pure human internet already and now there's so much AI generated content they risk making a snake eating it's own tail. The big bet is always what the next enabling technology will be, will it catch on or be another dot-com bubble?

this is so interesting to me, the sheer complexity of what's involved. So yes a human will usually at least aknowledge that people are questioning their authenticity. So it knew enough to be selective and only quote Dalton trees post, just replying to that? Without being a time served bladerunner it's easy to get confused. I do however completely disagree with what Steven P has said - my take is AI will still be an emerging technology in a hundred years, but long before then it will write a good novel and like the top novel from NYTs best novels of the century, be under a pseudonym - with people speculating if its a man or woman author. Steven P says it doesnt have any intelligence, but I'm thinking he wishes it did't.

Are you puddled, or pissed? There are many privately owned residential moorings on the broads, just like the cut, similar to the cut they are not easy to come by. I stated in my opening post it would be for pleasure use. If/when you've anything useful to add feel free to join in with something constructive.

Who got the other sets of cheap Sherpa tyres the other day then? I was going to buy them all but seemed rude when other people were wanting them. Long overdue. My current ones are bald as.

Ok, lets start again with ,, what do you class as a "residential" mooring? do you intend on living on the boat as your only home? what do you class as a "private" mooring? as the broads authority control those also as mostly they are connected to the main waterways, therefore you will have to pay all the relevant tolls and abide by their rules and restrictions.in addition to all charges made by the marina or private mooring. there's plenty of discussions on the net about permanent occupation on the broads and it's associated problems, below are some, Attention Required! | Cloudflare FORUM.NORFOLKBROADSNETWORK.COM Liveaboard on the Norfolk Broads | YBW Forum FORUMS.YBW.COM As the title says I am looking for a reasonably priced marina on the Broads...

It's asked another question, no question mark again, and no awareness that were having a conversation about it being artificial.

I had an early 1x37 which I recall had a similar issue. There was something in the circled part that I adjusted which controlled the return. Sorry canβt be more help as I no longer own the machine
