Very nice again. Do you have a rivet or bolt or something at the bottom of the V to stop the split running? And how did you go about the steaming process?

You're busy again today Jihadi Johnsond. Which guys? Get what? You're so cryptic man! I think it's time you applied Occam's razor. You missed the point again because you're blinded by your own dogmatic agenda. That or you just didn't even read the words again. Missing the point isn't an habitual thing for anyone else on here. You're trying, but failing, to compare apples with oranges here.

I love it on the right job. The right job is one with restricted access. Otherwise I hate it as a grab/rotator machine, it’s gutless in the lift compared to the e27 and even with the short dipper runs out of lift height very quickly. That said, it’s still a very capable (possibly the most capable) 1.9t machine I’ve tried- it’s just that none of them measure up to a 2.7t. frankly I don’t think you will find a secondhand one with a short dipper. I’m fairly sure mine is the only short dipper machine ever sold in the uk! The secondhand ones you’re looking at won’t have four pipes either but if they have the roller on each joystick (and no foot pedals for the swing/aux) then they are cheap enough to add extra aux pipes to. Id be looking for a sany or luigong to test the water- four pipes as standard and cheap machines. Often bought new by people who are looking for a cheap machine to be their own boss and are the first to let them go in a downturn- so haggle hard on price. If you like the machine you could always have an engineering firm shorten the dipper. You could also speak to Hywel Evans- he’s usually got something kicking around. He had a sany with cab and 300 hours for sale at 12k for ages- couldn’t shift it. He can also fit extra aux pipes to most machines.

Thanks mate, that was basically what I was after! I can’t afford new, and don’t want the overhead of finance with a machine that may not come out every day. I’m looking at 2nd hand e19’s that come in around 10/12k, but obviously I need to make sure they have a short/regular dipper. Towing a 3.5t rig would be a lot of extra load for my vehicles as we’re doing up to 2 hours each way some days, so the lighter weight would be a big bonus. It’s basically a bit of a demo for me-if the machine is a godsend and I quickly realise I need bigger, then so be it. If not, I haven’t spent £25k plus to try it out. I know the e19 would never match up to an e27, but as a stand alone machine how do you find it @doobin?

Let’s compare a daytime march with a notorious three day bender and compare data. 😂 As usual, you have completely missed the point.

We will never surrender our flag, Sir Keir Starmer says APPLE.NEWS The prime minister said the flag represents "our diverse country" and he will not allow people to feel... Utterly clueless. Obviously totally unaware of how “STAGGERINGLY” well behaved those far right fascist nazi thugs were. I guess if he’s used to the weekly pro Hamas chaos there’s an excuse.

Why don’t you start the thread, it can be all about you then. 😂 My photography is a hobby, I’ve had a few exhibitions internationally, never had any intention of doing it to make money, I have other outlets for that.

Old fella . Can you put up " The Tomahawk Kid " ?
-
A reasonably profitable one or id not do it, you seem a bit focused on my “ Trakmet hobby mill” I hope your camera thing pays as well. You having a bit of a bad day lad ? , bit like your occasional sour moods back on the old Covid thread. Actually you could start a new thread “ when does a hobby stop being a hobby” you seem to be focused on my hobbies or money making, not unlike another ATL member who genuinely never puts up anything wood related. I class myself to be very fortunate to be able to be making a living doing two things I still enjoy, Sawmilling and Commercial Diving if that annoys you 👍 ATL exists you should know that.
-
I love the fact that you have created an imaginary ATL especially for yourself, then you can pretend you are actually valid, you do make me laugh. I have invested tens of thousands in cameras, photographic equipment and a darkroom over the years, just like your milling, it’s still a hobby.

Have you sold it now Mark?

Very few marches involve people ‘looking for trouble’ thats not the point. However, with large groups of people trouble can and usually does spill over, I know people who where there, all wrong uns, I can’t remember the last time so few arrests where made, that’s why I am staggered.
-
Hobby Sawmiller 😂😂 give yourself a shake lad. But you didn’t avoid it did you ??. Who’s the royal “we” spare me the “ you ain’t arb” line eh ffs it’s a well worn one that and would exclude half the guys on here some of whom literally never put a pic of anything timber related up. But yeah you are right i don’t comment on threads I’ve no interest in. 😂😂😂😂😂 still a bit confused I see. The same old ATL names again and again can’t let it be 😂😂

I don’t but “ how is it staggering “ to you maybe, but not to me it isn’t. I know 3 guys who were there, all ex army with about 40 years service. A retired police man, a paramedic and an inspection engineer 🤷♂️none of them look for trouble. It was a simple question.

Why do you need everything explaining to you?
