  1. Past hour
  2. I had to cut it shorter to drive the car to A&E, it pulled out easy enough though, then a tetanus jab. The impact of the wood against my ankle bone hurt the most, a proper sickener, even with chainsaw boots and trousers on.
  3. Don’t think you’re safe just because you’re in France Mick. I’ve telt Interpol.
  4. I bet, who pulled it out?
  5. Why ever not? 15 years ago I spent months with an Ahwi in a 100 hectare plantation taking out the rhody in between the trees with a skid steer. The follow up treatment was good and last year the ecologist told me there was none to be seen.
  6. The police have been informed

  10. Today
  11. I used one for years as a high clip on my harness for the saw. Picked it up at a local Chandlers, it worked a treat. Then one day I bought a new harness and put in a carry tool and switch everything else over. Thats when I realised it was actually quite heavy.
  12. Spliced onto 3 strand?
  13. Right through, stung a bit. 😂
  14. Nasty, glad you’re back up to speed.
  15. Ayup lads and laddets. Not raining in Lancashire which is nice. Stay safe and have a good one
  16. Morning all, Drizzly here in Lincoln area. Collecting more gravel and spreading it then hedge removal. The week ahead looks like more rain to come. Have a good weekend
  17. Through and through or two wounds?
  18. Bonus daughter got car probs, Audi dash shows 6 faults! Time to OBD reader out and do some goggling. Disco might get pressed into service again! Planned to sell that a few years back but she still comes in handy! Six Nations rugby has started so two matches to watch unless my job list grows! Enjoy your family time. Wrist, Reign.
  19. A fantastic sunny start to today, been out with the dog first thing. Had a crap run the last couple of weeks due a a heavy cold, the first in a good few years, and a freak accident in my own garden involving a mulching blade and an off cut of an old fence post. Had two days back climbing this week so all feels back to normal.
  20. I was by the coast a while back and drifted into a boat equipment shop. Picked up this krab for no real reason. It has been knocking around my climbing gear for a few months, then I had the idea of using it for rigging and it’s absolutely brilliant. Really easy to cinch in the tree and uncinch on the ground, wide gate, easy to open with a thumb though it’s a strong spring action. Heavy, so throws nicely into forks difficult to reach. Fixed eye (as you can see) so neat and tidy. Rated at 900kg so not for mega stuff (neither is the rope of course) It really is very good, wish I’d thought of it years ago.

  26. Morning, dry and cold here! A day of excercise for me, too much time driving and sitting in the digger, off the saw and climbing is great but seriously loose fitness and strength as well as the pain and injuries. So dog walks, pram walks then filling the log shed.
  27. Morning all . Wind and rain here for a change !
