The days of Teddy Sheringham and Jermaine Defoe up top for Pompey are but a distant memory Stubs. At the coast now but heading back after brekky. More rain.

Morning all. Not feeling bad this morning, decent kip and the aches from last week are in retreat. Shitty dreams though, I woke having taken a short cut in the valtra through a hotel but the one door big enough to get out of I couldn't because of a wedding in the room, bizarre. Chores day and a visit to the cafe for me. Have a good one folks.

I think some of the stuff coming out of China now is quite impressive. They are clearly desperate to sell stuff, hence the tactic of shoving container loads into auction and taking whatever they are bid! It avoids import duties, and they do it both here and in the states. Lots of attachments coming through too. These generations of micro skid steers took much better quality than the Carter/Rippa micro diggers of a few years ago. Im actually seriously tempted.

Mark J started following Meindl airstream issue

My full time cutting boots were/are Andrews, I had Meindl's before that, they were a bit tight and a bit cold in winter work. No problems with them other than vibram soles wearing out. When I do venture up a tree I use Salewa Rapace boots and take care to avoid my feet with a saw.

"Donβt get upset lad," really, when you bang on about how do you know what I mean/meant! Its a hill that you will die on. You just dont realise it yet.
-
πππ Donβt get upset lad, if you want to condone the actions of a lying Walt thatβs your choice. Put that aside for a moment, have you ever considered why it is that he will not ever answer any question at all on anything that gives an indication of the character of the person not just the absolutely simple things you mentioned. Strange seeing as the same person has an opinion on everything. PS I know the coal heβs burning is imported as does he, itβs just a bit of light entertainment trying to get the blagger to admit it. Iβve said it before but will indeed say it again, itβs incredible how much slack having similar leftard tendencies can get you on here.

Ah a different type of question is it π€π. I watched the way Eggs was chased for info and the reaction by some to his apology so please spare me the lecture. Both of them are open books compared to the site blagger.
-
We know, we all know. You bang on about it everyday. Its pathetic and tedious and its being going on for months if not years. Where he buys coal from or what he does for a living is your problem. That's a hill that you will die on.

FFS you impatient lazy bugger, you guys are renowned for digging down rabbit holes looking for shite on Trump, couldnβt you google it Mark. Been flat out all day lad and out for a meal with family etc. Thereβs a quick screenshot you keep telling me how you β get itβ etc go and do a bit of digging. Iβve not got direct comms with Trump so canβt answer your question, thatβs not as in wonβt answer because Iβm a liar like SP/TA but rather I canβt because i donβt have the information you ask for.
-
Itβs amusing watching people wanting answers. Ive tried it with the forums biggest blagger on numerous occasions.
-
Can't say I did. Have you got a link to that? @Johnsond You're usually good at having information screenshotted. Can you point me in the direction where Trump reported some concerns? And if he did, why hasn't he acted on them?

Is he... seeking a safe country while unable to financially support himself? Well, well, well. Two things on 'Tommy Robinson' fleeing UK to 'protect his family': 1) He permanently moved his family from UK to Spain back in 2020, 5 years and 7 months ago. 2) His marriage ended in divorce in 2021. Tommy doesn't have to worry about ISIS. Never in history has ISIS attacked an Israeli agent.

Don't buy 7hp whatever you do, you have to hold material back or put tiny bits in all the time. I was working with a mate on Friday who has a 13hp Jansen, had to ask him to stop cutting everything up so small, just stick it in the chipper. Mines 24hp, makes a hell of a difference to what it'll just chonk through without slowing down.

It appears like the above 15hp version would be easily able to fill wheelie bins, unlike the the smaller 7hp unit. That's worth a few hundred pounds, right there, to anyone (like us) who use bins to ferry large quantities of chip out of awkward sites and gardens... I'm also a big fan of small chippers with rotating output chutes; they are much more practical. Check out the cost of replacement blades too, because I suspect they are more fragile -and less able to be commercially resharpened, when damaged ?

Sweet chestnut blight?

Disc has the obvious advantage that the top cover pops up for easy blade adjustment while drum looks to be a real pain to sort out. RegC suggests that drums need extra sharp blades with the correct angle to pull the material in while disc are less fussy. I dont yet have a trailer or towbar so initially transport will be by a friends van, I will need to lift it myself, so weight could be important. I'm expecting to remove hopper, chute then possibly seperate engine from drum if needed for easy lifting. Comparing Rotatech's but I think its quite similar for the other import brands From 7 to 15hp the weight doubles, but the throughput hardly changes - I find that a bit odd!
