  1. Past hour
  2. don't forget to yell 'way to go' at the end
  3. Did you ever see the footage of the female IDF boat crew neutralising the HAMAS terrorists attempting to swim in to Israel?
  4. Moved timber out of garden today, from emergency job last week when Copper beech lost big limb. 300m run out around garden so took trolley to make less trips,
  5. Might be worth asking the old girls of plant on FB for parts and other stuff like that
  6. Bit like the old saying Mick, I will be there now in a minute 😆
  7. ‘Putting feelers out’ Are they for sale or not?
  8. I could be interested, pics and prices please, price for all three? Can never have too many saws. Where are you?
  9. your watch straps are a joke
  10. I think the Border force needs privatising .....and giving a contract to the Israelis !!!
  11. Today
  12. 750-800 women on average die every day in the UK. 🤷‍♂️
  13. Strange that a woman dies and it isn't mentioned by the postee?
  14. Every time a householder kills himself doing tree work a hundred housewives read about it and stop their husbands with the words “no you are not! We’ll get a pro in and pay him whatever it costs” Its an ill wind…..etc.
  15. Exactly. The answer to everything.
  16. The ultimate answer?
  17. I first started using it when I was about 22, probably for the first ever stupid internet thing that I needed to sign in to. Never even imagining that I'd ever grow into it. Hey ho ......
  18. @tree-fancier123 and I share a joke.
  19. Investigation launched as migrant boat ‘reaches Kent coast’ without being intercepted APPLE.NEWS Five people were detained in a village north of Dover, it was reported Border farce more like it. Seeing that the French have said they will no longer attempt to stop illegals I’d say the invasion will only gather momentum.
  20. Pretty good vid. I thought he was taking a few chances with big swings over the roof, but the camera can be deceptive. The log he roped off took a pretty wild swing, I’d probably have put a tagline on that and let it out slowly, but different strokes and all that.
  21. I’ve always had a weird mental blindspot for sequences. I didn’t know the months of the year in order until I realised at about sixteen that everyone else knew them and I was a mong. Similarly I can’t work out my age from my birth date without really concentrating because of the year tripovers. I changed Sailor’s date of birth to 1st January 2022 to make it simpler. I must also be running low on storage and deleting/archiving things I think aren’t important because I forget trivial shit like my age but snap into sharp focus and can tell you the VAT treatment of gingerbreadmen or anything else that interests me.
  22. There are people on here with way more knowledge than me about such matters, but from those pictures, I would have been firing up a saw immediately. They're some of the ugliest specimens I have seen, and at that size, I wouldn't have any qualms about removing them. When I worked for a builder friend, the building control officer in one area was absolutely petrified of Leylandii. If he saw one anywhere near, the footings had to be bigger/deeper. Once upon a time, a neighbour rang and asked me to fell the oak tree near his mother's house, as it had been deemed responsible for cracking/subsidence. I refused, and told him that the oak tree wasn't the culprit. He replied that he knew it was the big Willow, I knew it was the willow, but the insurance man said it was the oak, and it needed to be felled for the payout.
  23. Nah, I'm just hiding behind internet anonymity.
  24. So you should be sime49. Are you some kind of idiot?
  25. French worms - lazy buggers.
  26. I was teasing you mate, I was amused by the edit. I wish I was 38 still! I've got 11 years on that.
  27. Sorry, mark wasn't referring to yourself but I remember an puppet of a house holder somewhere up country who use a ground saw at neck hight and guess what happend . Then the rest of us have more qualifications and legislation to follow
