I got that wrong, it's 55 years since I last had to do it. It does add but it does so by NANDing two numbers and the discarding the most significant bit (0)101==Decimal 5 (0)001== Decimal 1 (1)110 NANDed Discard most significant bit 110==Decimal 6 So the most basic thing a computer does is a comparison of binary digits and from this simple operation every thing which we do on a computer is based. Next it's qubits and that totally confuses me.

Students cheating is the least of our worries when it comes to children and AI. Teenage boys using ‘personalised’ AI for therapy and romance, survey finds | Artificial intelligence (AI) | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM Male Allies UK worries rise in chatbot ‘girlfriends’ will leave boys unable to socialise and respect boundaries "The research, based on a survey of boys in secondary education across 37 schools in England, Scotland and Wales, also found that more than half (53%) of teenage boys said they found the online world more rewarding than the real world."

Interesting. I want to ask for a more in-depth explanation of the ANDing masquerading as adding thing. Guessing it's not something that fits neatly in a nutshell though. I was fascinated by Logic Gates when I was taught them all to briefly. Pattern recognition. A friend of mine was developing software to be used in a chicken nugget factory, or some such, around the turn of the century. It's purpose was to recognise and reject wrong or damaged ones by looking at their shape. AI wasn't even on the horizon then, it was just pattern recognition. He now works at GCHQ, something to do with policy, (that's all he's allowed to say).

Well that doesnt sound good at all! Ive know a couple a scallys from the past and the consensus was if someone pulls a knife on you to rob you give them everything, if they pull a knife and dont ask for anything then you better run. If they pull a gun on you then you better give them their drugs stash back. Or, you could learn from the master.

Yeah, that was what I concluded. Though I had them in a dim unheated garage I think, maybe if they were in a bright, warm conservatory or something they'd do better. No need to buy more seeds, just use some from last year's chillies. They're always viable. Dead easy, especially if your drying them out anyway.
-
Not gonna disagree with you on that one. Don’t matter how strong or good you are with your hands when a blade is brought into the mix you are in trouble. I had the misfortune many years ago to end up in a scuffle that went tits up fast and ended up getting slashed in the face and forearms with a Stanley knife and a Pils bottle. The result that night was 56 stitches, a broken arm and a fractured skull and scarring that I’ve carried since that day. Reality is numbers and blades will win every time, real life ain’t like the movies, my biggest mistake that night was standing my ground and not legging it.

Yep the chillies. Thats a shame I thought well established plants would do well. Ahh well, bin them and buy new next year then.

You wouldn't. Picture it. Really picture it. Then watch the first 3 minutes of Law Abiding Citizen.

The right to bear arms in America is far too restricted and it shows in the violence they suffer, attacks in gun free zones etc. I'd rather live in a free country.
-
If we could be armed Alex we’d end up like America. I think I would rather get stabbed.
-
I'm not bothered about ifs, coulds and maybes. I'm bothered about rights of individuals and the certainty of not being armed, which is harm. I say certainty because rule one of knife fighting is you're getting cut. Fcking grisly and fcking appalling. I want to be standing twenty feet back with 16 rounds of 9mm on tap. How dare anyone tell me I should have to walk twenty feet forward and get slashed to bits instead.

Looking for insurance for our log business machinery and public liability who is using who ?????

Amarok , I would buy another when mine finally dies… which seems a hard to do fete.. feels far more refined than most 4x4 pick ups on long journeys and with the kids in the back.
-
Yeah, which is slightly fair. But the power that pushes my 13" or 20" at easily quarter revs would definitely push a 28" round at least a bit.
-
But the Germans would point out you are far outside the range of recommended bar lengths of 28, 36"

the black guy could also have been carrying. In the US that train attack would have had a candlelit vigil afterwards.

Hang on here, are you referring to people with “ Downs” as mongs you sick bastard, you can check any of my posts and I guarantee you will not find a single use of that word in reference to those affected by that particular condition. That is nothing more but you trying way way too hard lad. “Conclusions” I didn’t jump to anything, it would seem you are a supporter judging by this and previous comments 🤔well I’d say the multi million pound settlement and the actions of the current monarch would suggest you are in the minority regarding Andrew. Like I say Leftard bias is buying you a pass on this one.

Other good thing about biner is it's multi-purpose.
