What’s this interesting material coming out of my stove?

Ive never touched the stuff, to many people near me developed mesothelioma, I know of people who have taken there lives because they were scared of developing cancer . Ive just knocked back a job of stripping off a garage roof and dismantling a concrete garage -
Nope, they do the 1.9 as per the post above, and a 3.8t.

Wait till you get a price. Only available in the UK as Case. Enquired and they said they handn't sold so well and they had a couple of 2023 models, new old stock. Aha, thought I. £33k plus vat. No thanks. It's a bit of a joke machine tbh- apparently it's for 'internal demolition'. If so then why isn't it electric or a hybrid at the least?

This looks like common Lime. The shoot zig zags with a bud at each bend, although I would have expected the buds to be more red in colour.

Reminds me of when a Welsh student told me how to say "pleased to meet you" in Welsh when I was to be introduced to my Welsh tutor 😉 -

Yes but it was only the stuff with dimples on one side that exploded. I guess it was steam trapped in the cement. -
kram started following help with bar oil pump

I've got some issue to investigate on the 372! If I hold the saw horizontal to cut a slice from a stem I was getting a lot of smoke and noticed oil was visibly squirting from the bar mount area, directly to the exhaust. Cure was to flip the saw over. I didnt notice after that if it was still squirting out. The bar appeared to be getting adequate lube and cutting fine, though I didnt bother to test if it flings from the nose. Its had a good clean and will try again tomorrow. Any ideas if it continues? I did have theboiler turned up to full, might need to turn it down.

Whale tastes lovely. No I won’t send you any. -
My car was stolen. Here are six important things I learned BBC.COM Keyless thefts are on the rise and car crime is increasingly organised and high-tech. Interesting article about car theft and key fob cloning (from your house!) I have long thought that the majority of chippers get stolen for their engines, this article (to a limited extent) backs that up.

yes, not disputing that,, but asbestos sheets will explode and pieces can land half a mile away. I have seen this with my own eyes, and spent 3,1/2 years with a fireman who confirmed this on more than one occasion. -

that’s easy for you to say! Interesting that we think it’s bits of the stove - I had assumed it was something produced by the the fire process (maybe I’d rediscovered king Arthur’s sword). I’ll have a good luck inside the box tomorrow morning before lighting up. -

Don't forget asbestos takes many forms , and was used in fire ppe in the 60s, You need to go on u tube, they now cook asbestos, turn it into glass and then gets used for trench backfill . -

No it’s really light weight material - like a brittle ceramic. The stove is a recent install of an older machine so no asbestos and there’s no firebricks in it - just heavy cast iron. I’ll see if I can match up the curve to the stove to see if it’s some sort of deposit that’s fallen off. -
Anyway I have tried to explain to him that 40" diameter lumps of stem will not go through a 6" chipper. Yes they can be cut smaller to be liftable and movable, but thats not what a 6" chipper is for. Grass muddy slope up to driveway, muddy trail down into woodland/swamp.

if asbestos[in sheet form] is subjected to extreme heat it explodes,,, violently. that looks like cast iron. put a magnet on it, if its magnetic it ain't asbestos, or touch it with a grinder, if you get sparks,, it ain't asbestos.
