I'm seeing this quite regularly on Sorbus Spp. and Prunus Spp. on street trees. Am I correct in thinking this is P. pomaceus? I'm commonly seeing it in the lower stem/buttress area, rarely on scaffold branches. Thanks.

Is that what you call warm?!?

John Virgo - RIP. Will be missed I say.

Another one for the Makita battery brigade. Bought this a while back, simply because it was offered at a stupid price. with a cheap chinese auger extension, it's making my current fencing job easier. It's a decent drill for big blacksmith drill bits, too, and even core bits if you haven't got mains nearby. It doesn't have the sheer grunt of the petrol auger, but it's handier, and more versatile.

Ah. Then I am missing something. Learn something new every day. Certainly fits with the video you posted. -
Both just as bad as the other, pair of them are headaches

It’s a float in the pump rather than the carburettor. -

I could be missing something here, but if it's fuel injection, where's the float? A thirty second Google on Kohler efi suggested that much of the fuel supply is adjusted by an oxygen sensor in the exhaust. A possible candidate perhaps? I know that nowadays just about every malfunction in a vehicle engine traces back to a sensor. -

Thanks for asking. Got tomorrow booked off to have a crack at it. I could take it to a garden machinery place (and this still might happen) but I’m worried they’ll play ‘parts bingo’ and présent me with a massive bill. I’ve done research on the internet (yeah, I know!) we’re looking at a leak in the float causing over fuelling. If it gets too deep we’ll put it back together and drop it off. -
At times it baffles me how some people run businesses. Goodwill is vital when you're dealing with the public. He has now ensured that Stubby, his family and friends will not buy a car there. The correct course of action was to apologise profusely, refund the full £400 asap, and send Mrs Stubby a bunch of flowers/Box of chocolates/Bottle of prosecco or similar. That few quid gift could have rescued a £5k ( for the sake of argument ) sale.

Did ya fix it ? -
Regardless of the brand, I wouldn't recommend any 18v saw, it's just too hard work for the battery ( unless perhaps it's that mahoosive 12Ah Makita jobby 😄 ). Lower voltage means higher current for the same effort, and high current draw is the enemy.

What do you make of this @Mick Dempsey It says its got a realistic walk. Hopefully it's got an untiring and solid hand shake! I don't know why they couldn't model it on the chick on the left on the picture. Maybe they need lots of investment still.

I wonder, if you did kick him, could he care for his own knob afterwards or would he need another operator to do that for him?
-
You just don't need this sort of added stress in your life. You should still go down there, find the turd and give him a square kick in the gonads just to let him know, in no uncertain terms, that he is in fact an absolute weapons grade cod piece.

I hate dealing with cacti. Very clear cut, they sold her motor that she had put a deposit down on in good faith. Why was there any quibbling. Sure yeah make the offer on the car as it is now available but any decent person would say 'i totally understand, money is on its way back.' end of.
