i can tell just from that 1 pic that was a big horrible tree to dismantle, only because of the ivy though, i hate ivy with a passion good work anymore pics?

yup good ivy and there was no access to the rear of the tree as it stood up 40-50ft on top of a river bank :S

Has you Groundy got a hard head????? Ivy just loves sycamores and hides all holes and decay how did you see what you where doing.
