  1. Sell your house and buy one with no trees nearby.
  2. Torque settings charts can be found on t'internet and are determined by the size of the bolt.
  3. As above but the Osprey. I use one for cutting a grassland track. Brilliant bit of kit though a bit of mechanical knowhow would be useful for maintenance as they are now 'vintage'.
  4. Great laugh, thanks guys! 👍
  5. Glory hole for farmers!
  6. Dead Sycamores, no harm done.
  7. I'd like to have seen a photo of said hedge. Might have have been a corker to lay.
  8. I saw it was up for grabs on Forestry Journal. I contacted my favourite provider (parkhill training) about doing the felling course through them. They got back to me next day 10th February. I sat down to fill the form in just to be told all the funding had gone. 🤨
  9. Hi Ed. I have my own Woodland that I manage. The trees are mature now but I control the bramble by pulling it up. If you get it early enough it is quite shallow rooted and comes up easily in long runners that will root where they touch the ground. Briar, if you mean wild rose is best left alone if you want bee's and buttflies and hips in autumn. My friend planted a new wood then left it alone, it became swamped with thistles, so I go round early winter with the brush cutter, just being careful. Though I still decapitate the odd tree. A couple of photos before and after.
  10. We're not talking about the end of civilization. We're talking about societal changes as we know it to have been.
  11. Farmers Weekly https://www.fwi.co.uk › environment Dutch announce forced buyout of farms to cut emissions..........nothing to see here! 🙈
  12. There's nothing at all to worry about if you don't mind your life being micromanaged by big state. Ask dutch farmers about conspiracy theories.....or canadian truckers.

  14. There are some great comments on here! There might be hope for us yet!
  15. You've hit the nail on the head there. All those Marxists from the 60's and 70's are now rubbing their hands with glee.
  16. That's an appalling story, but all too common. No wonder home schooling is so popular.
  17. Globalisation, world banking, the great replacement, Kalgeri plan, Christian values deliberately eroded, brainwashing by mainstream media, 'forced' vaccination, children taught lgbtq+ at school, now we've got 'green agenda' being forced on us etc etc take your pick.
  18. Olive tree?

  20. I have camped in the past. I can walk from where I live to the wood in 15 mins so I stick to home comforts! I have a big shed with a stove in it, as I'll often spend the day down there.
  21. I'm a woodland owner, just over an acre of oak. It's a hobby and I love it. I'm in the Midlands
