  1. how many times are you pumping the purge bulb before starting the saw ? also i have known the purge bulb to fail by letting air in .
  2. oki doki i know with my husky if i havent used it for a bit ( like leaving it in the shed for 3 months ) it starts fine but flutters at high revs till i do the husky reset .
  3. also on some sites it says to run 5 bucking cuts at full tilt boogie wooogie .
  4. couple of things to try =
  5. one landing tomorrow Display only the rest well they will be along at some point after that .
  6. funnily enough thats how i find most problems . the main one being now how the feck did this go ??
  7. I would stay with what the manufacturer advices and either the pre mixed fuel or ethanol free and a good quality oil . on a side note i say ethanol free as i have already seen 2 saws burnt up on this new fuel .
  8. so they only dropped 1 tree a week oh well thats .gov for you.
  9. yes the file may have been new years ago but the rust has taken the cutting edge off of it just think buy a brand new car park it on your drive for ten years its no longer new its got ten years of age and rust .
  10. i know it may sound daft but have you changed the plastic caged roller bearing ? as i had it once where one of the needles went .
  11. on my bench today i had both my efco mt3700 and my Husqvarna 560 for a general touch up and service . neither of these saws have ever let me down .
  12. eazy fix if you know about it . found this on bootube check from 4:30.
  13. to me it sounds like you may have the wrong pitch chain for your drive sprocket and bar
  14. you'll need your sub titles on but it shows how you can swap it over in this clip .
  15. looking at their manual that looks like a seperate part from the bar so cant you just swap it to your new bar ? but i would say its part of the tensioner set up from the looks of it .
  16. funny i have been using my husky roller guide with no problems prefer it to the origon file plate . just my views and as my wife will tell you they dont count.
  17. true but now you just turn the whole bench .. 😜
  18. the little things in life sent to pee us off .. glad you got it sorted chap.
  19. by chance have you checked that the moron ( not you ) has put all the wires back on right ?
  20. to all those that help and comment on this site . thanks for making it worth visiting.
  21. im not that experianced but it all depends on what you are cutting be it 6in or 16in soft or hardwood . you will find after a while using a short bar that you want more. also a small 40cc saws just dont pull a large bar in hard wood as well as say something over 50cc that extra 10cc makes a big difference .
  22. may be a fault with the auto tune side but without the knowledge about tec i couldn't say . maybee take the saw back and ask him to plug it in and do a print out as the auto tune holds a lot of data on how the saw has been run.
  23. i know just watch the clip he even says he dosn't like the rewind starter thing other than all of this its a good review at the end ... i meen the end is the best part of it .
  24. to me it doesn't give you enough torque and you need reves in a saw . what i like is the way he says that its a bit slow then says maybe it would be better with a shorter bar and bigger teeth .
  25. they could do a little bit to the chains but things like roller bearings ect would put the cost of the chain through the roof. what we have at the moment is based on what we had 70 years ago why because if it aint broke dont fix it .
