  1. They always have been. Great marketing for a shit product.
  2. Kärcher WD2 cord, bagless Wet and Dry Vacuum : Amazon.co.uk: Home & Kitchen AMZN.EU Free delivery and returns on eligible orders. Buy Kärcher WD2 cord, bagless Wet and Dry Vacuum at... I have one of these. I use it in the garage for sucking up swarf, oil, whatever. Never let me down, works well. I got it used, packed with filler dust. Quick clean out and it's been great ever since. There are better ones out there but it's great value for money. If it sucked any harder the wierdos that frequent the nearby woods at night would be trying to marry it.
  3. Have to say, i like where you had your priorities.
  4. I'm in Spain at the moment, feeling very jealous when i see Disco 2s with spotless towbars and immaculate chassis.
  5. Ask if it can be taken to a garage and put on a ramp. You want a good look at the chassis, inside at the rear around the fuel tank is a common place. Look over the whole chassis, body mounts, tow bar mounts, anywhere that has mud trapped in it. Patching/plating the chassis is common, as is fitting replacement rear sections.
  6. Looks nice, but be sure to look up the MOT history and thoroughly inspect the car. Has had a few fails and lots of advisories for chassis corrosion. Nothing unusual for a Disco 2 though. But i'd definitely give it a good look over.
  7. Rear chassis around the fuel tank, body mounts, front inner wheelarches/footwells. Mine has a few holes and needs plating up before i buy a new galv chassis for it. Manual for me. My car's an auto but my van and Disco are manual. Both are for towing, i prefer the control of a manual over an auto for towing. My Disco was given to me by my uncle, who bought it new, now waiting for its once-over:
  8. Well he beat them to it and looks like he's happy with it. I wish my shelf queen 395 cost £200. 😭
  9. Going by the pic it looks like he's used it now. 😂
  10. Maybe you should look at the Sale of Goods Act or distance selling regulations, and not a page on citizen's advice titled "If something you ordered hasn't arrived" Here's a relevant section for you: "The goods must be delivered within a reasonable time (section 29(3), SGA) and at a "reasonable hour" (section 29(6), SGA), to be determined with reference to relevant industry practices." And.. "English law does not impose any requirements regarding the method or place of delivery of goods." It's not quite as simpleas you've ordered it so they have to do anything to get it to you. The courier will make reasonable effort to deliver. But if your end can't accept the delivery it'll be RTS and you have to pay to redelivery as they've already attempted. Hopefully they see this and cancel your order instead.
  11. The problem is at your end, not theirs. If you have special delivery requirements you should've contacted them first. As others have said, they cannot guarantee the actions of the courier company. It's not in anyone's interest for items to not be delivered. This thread further confirms what most members here think of you.
  12. Have you ever needed to tighten something to a specific torque, but just can't find the right socket? Well, no issue now with the precision bolt mangler! (It's not modified, it came from the factory like that.)
  13. These are worth a look too, really useful for small hoses is tight places:
  14. I like big spikes because i'm a poser/wannabe. 🤷🏻‍♂️
  15. Apparently it's a direct fit for the 560. @HuntingHicap has fitted one to a 560. It's been fitted to a 550 with a little modification i've seen somewhere. It's really cheap from the US even with the tax, i don't know why. I wanted big dogs and the wider clutch cover for my 390, it was cheaper to buy a 572 full wrap set with the dogs, clutch cover, shipping and import tax than the clutch cover alone costs here. (It's silver instead of orange though.)
  16. I bought my full wraps (4 sets i think.) from the US via eBay. Far cheaper than buying here and you can pay the import tax at purchase, saving time and handling fees. 17. Looks like you're spot on! Thank you! First time i've ever seen one.
