  1. sorry but i that video made me angry. that performer is appropriating my culture and that is wrong. my van is completely different. here it is in the background. i'm the one exercising my horse
  2. until we passed on our genes and was around long enough until the offspring was independent. i for one want to live a little longer than that. are we that arrogant that we refuse to follow scientists that have are trying to use their career long knowledge in giving best intended advice? i'm not talking about following poiticians, i'm talking about following scientists. if a virologist called an arborist out to fell a mature ash with die back and he started lecturing him/her on his views that were contrary to current professional work practice what would you think? if i was a shopkeeper and someone came in and refused to wear a mask cos he didn't believe in it, i would think i had been thru a wormhole to Trumpland America. i choose not to to follow medical advice on how much to drink and exercise and i am only harming myself. i might be breathing Speckled Hen droplets on my family but they have grown an immunity to it
  3. What can I say? She’s a killer
  4. look, you can't imagine what stick i've had the whole of my life with people having a go at my name. i rue the day my parents thought Tippin was a nice original moniker. after leaving school i thought i had no option but to go into the illegal fly tipping trade. must admit business has fallen off since this site started to advertise local tip sites
  5. The piss take and Chem trails are two different things. I’m hoping you are in the piss take group as I’ve just spent five and a half K because you said bandsaws were a real and efficient method of obtaining slabs. If you are a chem trailer then I’m back to my chainsaw [emoji12] Got my antibodies checked as part of some epidemiological study. No certificate. Norway is assuming antibodies or past infection gives immunity. That is an unknown. There are a few reports of doctors having caught it twice. Nobody knows for sure. However, I am assuming that I’m not gonna get it again at least this year
  6. Right. Enough of this. I’m now going to lobby my MP to bring back Shamima Begum. It’s a disgrace how we have treated that poor girl There is crowd funding site organised by RT to help pay the costs so please give generously
  7. Antigen test has 30% false negative rate. Antibody test more reliable but no bugger know if this translates to immunity and if it does, for how long. I might be susceptible to a fresh infection now, in a few months or never.
  8. Covid and gonorrhoea but that’s none of your business [emoji8]
  9. Sorry didn’t know expletives were censored
  10. The simple truth is the government were floundering not knowing what to do which is fair enough with this novel situation. Massive mistakes were and will be made. Politics HAVE to come in to it as there is more to the health of the nation than preventing early deaths of the sick and vulnerable. Who the hell (absolutely no ****************ing body) knows what the economic fallout is gonna be. You need an economy to pay for health and social services as well as everything else. IMHO too many people have suffered from the fallout. Those with other conditions not being treated and the devastation of losing one’s livelihood. The other side of the coin is everything going to shit anyway cos every one is ill. I’m glad I’m not calling the shots. It’s a fine line and not some government exercise.
  11. Had positive antibody test
  12. sorry, but being relatively new here i don't know what is a piss take and what is serious. Granted the government response has been less than perfect but is anybody here seriously saying this is just an exercise in government control? those chem trails must be working. i know several people who have died from covid. i had it mildly at the start but still have no sense of smell. i'm mid 50s. i can just imagine the ire of someone who has suffered from a preventable illness against the know it all conspiracy theorists
  13. Bought the woodlands one. Wouldn’t even knock 15 quid off to round it down to 500[emoji24]
  14. First, the guy from woodmizer was great. Sent me pics But that is not going to clear my wheels Great value though at £80
  15. just rang him. he is gonna send me some pics of the 80 quid kit. ta in my experience, you don't just convert the dollar to sterling, you add a good 50%
  16. does seem to be getting chillier by the minute in Hell. If the Woodmizer is a non starter I might just fork out the money
  17. cannot see anything on their website. can u send me the link? cheers
  18. bloody nora. i will post what i eventually end up using. you must be made of money
  19. anybody got a woodlands mill on a trailer ie the Woodlander? not wishing to re invent the wheel, how do you get the logs on the mill? it will be a cold day in hell when i pay 430 quid for a winch and some rampsfrom the supplier. a quick look on google and you can get a hand winch for 16 quid. i don't know, but it is possible i could source some wood to act as the ramps, maybe. pics and/or where you bought the gear much appreciated
  20. yeah, i use a grinder. chains had a few sharpenings. def the bar. just used the same chain on a different bar to do this. might be my last log as i'm selling it
  21. if it not a one off Mark, i agree. do it yourself, it's more satisfying. i'm getting a bandsaw so selling my logosol M8 which is ok for anything up to 2ft diameter and will throw in my logosol timberjig which you can use for wider. no chainsaws in the deal though so you will need a decent one i suppose. not far from you in N yorkshire. (was the Armstrong bridge in Jesmond Dene named after you??)
  22. sorry people. should have followed up on this. Seabrookes are better than Walkers. oh, also, it was my bar. although only used as a back up for my lo pro, the oregon versacut was at fault. looking at it, it was fine, but when running the groove cleaner thru it there were catches. don't know why. put the same chain on a sugi hara bar i use for felling and no crinkles. bit academic now as i will soon be a proud owner of a woodlands bandsaw thanks
  23. to anyone interested and wants to be awake between midnight and 2am. comet Neowise. just look up. you cannot miss it in the northeast. pics taken with ordinary camera from Northumberland so don't know what any poor sod who lives in a city can see. binoculars show it up brilliantly
