  1. Glad everyone more or less enjoyed it, we arrived on the Wednesday to "No you cannot drive onto the field to unload all your gear, then they said we had to move it but once all that was sorted we could relax and enjoy it, like it has already been said, Thursday was quite busy as was Friday but Saturday was dead, we left before the rain started but overall was good.

    APF24

Just got back from the APF 24, I thought it was a good show and enjoyed it, anyone else attend and if so what did you think?
  3. Took this picture while working in a local forest. Dryads Saddle I think, fungi is far from my speciality.
  4. My charger so far has been ok but the battery wouldn't charge after about 10 charges, it was still under guarantee and the shop where I bought it from would not replace it. If a product goes wrong that's bad enough but I think Husky dealers from my experiences are atrocious. Had to by another larger one at £140.
  5. I have just been asked but a neighbour if this is any good,Tsudoku Steel Wire Core Flip Line Kit, he has seen it on Amazon for about £45, I said to him if it is being sold there don't get it, get it from a dedicated Arborist shop but he seems to think it's a good buy.perhaps I'm being over sceptical, what are your thoughts?
  6. As far as I know SIP are made in Italy and England. Lincoln are made in deferent parts of the world, Poland, Italy, China and the States If memory serves, but just like anything, parts are made from the cheapest suppliers and assembled somewhere else, don't particularly care as long as it is reliable and works well which these have.
  7. This Hawthorn Tree looks like it has Hawthorn Rust, if it has is this too far gone, what are you're thoughts? It actally looks thinner in real life than the picture.
  8. I've used Lincoln for years, a multi process 200c welder, the best welder by far I have ever used and I've been welding for the best part of 40 years.
  9. As soon as your hand or any part of you goes across the fence you are trespassing, might be easier to get a tree surgeon if you really cannot speak to her or just tell her what has to be done for safety. I have a neighbour lean over my garden at the back a few times and cut my trees, had a go at him a couple of times and in the end I called the police because the trees were getting quite bad by then after him hacking them apart, police turned up and told me "As soon as any part of him comes onto my property ie over the fence he is trespassing and cutting your trees is criminal damage". They went over to his house and gave him a verbal warning and a proper ticking off.

  11. Oregon files are good, just make sure what you buy is for the chain you use.
  12. I think if ww3 happened we would be fighting within these shores as well from the people that are already here willing to take up arms against us.
