  1. Thought you may be able to offer the OP some advice...
  2. @Terrain Aeration does this work.
  3. I believe getting planning permission for stonehenge was a lengthy process
  4. That was his best so far, helped me enormously. Didn't realise my blower had such a problem (it always starts on 3 pulls, not the perfect 13). Just dropped it off at the dealer to get that sorted.
  5. Liked him in Cracker the most, with the Panhandle woman as his sidekick.
  6. Calling the video Topiary Timelapse is a bit misleading too I thought. No doubt it won't be long before someone with a pair of secateurs and wearing no trousers undercuts your price.
  7. I reckon whatever she does at this stage she's already doomed. Pepperpot Penny would be a more attractive proposition, but I don't know about her leadership capabilities!
  8. Kwasi Kwarteng: I'm not going anywhere, says chancellor WWW.BBC.CO.UK Asked whether he could U-turn on parts of his mini-budget, Kwasi Kwarteng says "our position hasn't... 17hrs later... Yes I'm going now, says chancellor.
  9. She's called a press conference for 2pm today so it doesn't look good for him. Not looking great for Truss either as it's being reported the Tory MP's are rumbling about giving Penny a go instead.
  10. To be fair Mark, it was quite useful. It helped Dirk understand why people kept advising him to make an application and explain to his neighbours about there being an established process to follow.
  11. If you'd submitted an application on the day you started this thread, your 5week wait would be done in two days time.
  12. I used to prefer more wheels when I did it
  13. Sorry, just a joke. Struck me as something trigger Andy would say
  14. Is that you Andy?
  15. I think it's the petzl vertex helmet branded by husqvarna that I had.
  16. I've worn a few helmets and for me the protos is by far the best. Comfortable and cool (as in not hot rather than fashionable!) and great having the muffs out the way when not in use. That said, before I got a protos I'd of said the same about the Husky petzl one. You'll not be wearing it all day every day John so no need to be extravagant.
  17. I'd really recommend a Protos but if you don't want to spend that much my previous one was a Husqvarna Petzl arborist helmet and it was good, comfortable.
  18. Weaponised lentils. They must be vegan activists.
  19. Haha, I noticed you recognised the wording, almost like you'd heard it all before!
  20. I've either had a terribly misspent youth or I used to be a traffic officer...
  21. I was reading about this ridiculous group recently as well, Tyre Extinguishers. They want people to go out in cities and randomly deflate the tyres of 4x4's and SUV's in order that the individuals affected might suddenly decide to use a bicycle instead. Behaviour like this is utterly thoughtless. Home | Tyre Extinguishers WWW.TYREEXTINGUISHERS.COM We are people from all walks of life with one aim: To make it impossible to own a huge polluting 4x4 in the... Edit. Although I did once do it to an obnoxious maths teacher at school which was quite rewarding at the time!
  22. I thought the same when they glued themselves to the roof of a train on the Docklands railway a while back, the public basically ripped them off and threw them aside but they don't get the message that this kind of action is not supported.
  23. That's as may be Sir, but I'm afraid you're not in your yard now are you. You are currently on a public highway. Furthermore I am witness to the fact you are acting otherwise in accordance of the Road Traffic Act. Therefore it's my duty to inform you that you will be reported for Acting contrary to regulation 23(1) of the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989, section 42 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and Schedule 2 of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988. Also, your vehicle will be seized. Is there anyone you know that could give you a lift home Sir?
  24. Ring ding ding ding ding ding Ring ding ding ding bem bem bem Ring ding ding ding ding ding Ring ding ding ding baa baa
  25. Didn't know its name, very descriptive. The field behind the house is covered in patches of it this year, never noticed it there before.
