  1. Anyway I had put forward the formal complaint to head office of kfc Response is bit of a joke .not sure why I bothered complaining for Hi Jack, Thanks for getting in touch, we appreciate your concern for social distancing in our restaurants. Our restaurants are currently only open for delivery and drive thru orders at the moment so guests are unable to come into the restaurants at the moment. The security that we have at restaurants to protect our teams by making sure that guests don't enter the restaurant and the delivery drivers that do enter our restaurants, stick to social distancing measures and keep our team safe. If there;s anything else we can help with, just let us know. With All Best Wishes, KFC Care Squad
  2. I am still waiting for 500 quid from October.bloody con artist has since been re advertising for cutters probably trying to do the same or similar to others Some people are just self intrested cunts which will try it on . got to be firm and persistent but still professional .
  3. Agreed though.should have been avoided after realising what was being done wrong and just gone to Waitrose (usually where the more civilised tend to shop ) .some people do need educating a bit though only with a refresher on the basic rules everyone should be aware with.
  4. Strange encounter tonight at local fried chicken takeout . a security man stands at the door opening and closing the door but in order to get into shop you have to walk past him probably within 1m that is potentially a breeding ground for the virus.will be complaining to head office tmr
  5. The thing which annoys me most about this is the fact they are wealthy enough and fully loaded with cash and yet still money hungry to save a few quid by fiddling the books . Had another windup customer which started to question the quote after job finished (in good time ).started asking what my hourly rate was probably trying to get a reduction for an already cheap job He had kept on asking me to get the job done sooner then tried to fob me off . Came to paying and you would think he was handing over his whole life savings but no 60 quid. Hardly worth bothering with
  6. Intresting one today . had just finished days work trimming up some nasty laurels and Lelandi Customer then insists the invoice is made out to a nearby rental house which I was a bit unsure about agreeing to as never worked there .anyway decided to drive past the other house on the way back , Turns out there not even hedges of any kind in there rental house .stupid feckers the work undertaken was for there private garden and not a business of any kind . Always the wealthy which will try it on .
  7. Some carry today to get the hole ready for the new post 5.5 hrs later was ready .never seen concrete soo hard ...
  8. Been lawn mowing today and the machine seemed to have overheated with loads of white smoke and oil coming out of exhaust .next thing I realise the nearby dead and dry hedge a few foot away caught on fire but managed to put it out in time .possibly caused from hot oil ? anyway the mower still works but think it is time to offload onto ebay before it goes bang
  9. You are right though some kombi models not that great . recently bought a mantis tiller which can take a similar brush .i might experiment with that . J
  10. I would Just spray them off then rake it up a few weeks later . what about those power broom type things for a Stihl kombi? That would be less damaging to the paving etc
  11. I didn’t want fresh cut only because to try and prevent it bowing or splitting etc as got to hold a very heavy gate (and fussy customer) have now ordered a softwood one but got to profile the top myself.would a chainsaw and belt sander do the job?
  12. I’m down the other end but parcelforce can only take upto 30kg .it could be slightly shorter 185cm to reduce weight slightly .last load of 2.4 10x20 oak sleeper was less than 30kg so might be ok but doesn’t have to be oak
  13. If anyone can help I’m after a timber gate made from oak or anything long lasting but not green wood 170x170mm x2M and to include a full rounded top like the one seen here and a nice straight piece of wood . Surprisingly hard to get hold off and Did make a few enquires with combines but not had a a reply and would need it for next week . (Will also pay courier delivery) Thanks

    Radio song

Been listening to some right old crap which is on the radio a lot called due lipa break my heart. it took a few goes to work out but this is a blatant copy partly ripping off the famous queen song .another one bites the dust how do they get away with this .if they didn’t already give them X amount to use it then perhaps these self interested music producers will get sued soon on copyright grounds . this sort of thing does really get to me
  15. Well I’ve had a few ideas before only to find there are very similar sounding ones nearby. already been established for a while with an existing client base but wanting to be able to increase income and charge more with a more professional name .
  16. Good name for a business that will undertake all maintenance work and anything garden related ?
  17. Or if your planning on using timber sleeper for the raised bed just cut the stumps lower to the ground and level and use that as a base for them to sit on aswell as upright supports .chances are it would all be hidden and no one would ever know
  18. Not being funny but what are the chances such people that make or sell these fake machines look on forums like this to be able to make more convincing fakes .he did seem to be typing in Turkish after all
  19. I’ve been thinking about getting another Stihl but they don’t seem as good as they once were and the last 2 were a waste of money.had a old 55cc echo which lasted well and ran great for years but regret giving that to a friend. The 545 might be the one I will try next .
  20. Anyway Never going up a tree like that again in strong winds .still got the swaying feeling If I didn’t do it though then who knows what sort of shit the bloke might have got himself into .he was going to cut it in one in bit of a tight spot with his Aldi chainsaw and could have easily have potentially fallen the wrong way into the main road causing all sorts of trouble .he seemed to think this would be classed as an act of god though so therefore wouldn’t be liable for anything
  21. Even if top did fall through probably only minor inj Didn’t use foot spikes but these would have been handy .tied myself in then stripped all branches until topping it out . i was aware there was was chance it could fall onto me so strapped in on the way down in case it did and left a fair bit of wood so took a fair pull to get it down
  22. yes I know it does very amateur but I had tried to think about all possible scenarios before I started and so was harnessed in with ppe and so chances of injuries considerably lower and a lot of the smaller stuff cut by hand .I think he had another quote from someone which he thought was too much for not particularly big tree so anyway it was for a chap up the road i know and I just happened to have seen him filling his petrol can this morning and said he’s trying his new electric chainsaw and cutting this tree down today (70 yrs old and was planning to cut it one and had a bit of a back lean ) All sounded like a bad accident waiting to happen but maybe I should have just talked him out of it and left him to it .
  23. Not worried really if it’s constructive criticism.got 300 quid for an afternoons work and all good .that pine juice is nasty stuff
  24. I don’t normally climb trees but ended up taking a 45ft pine down today .it was bloody scary especially in the high winds .went up on builders ladders and tied it up and had a basic harness attached to some limbs and used the cut and chuck method.all went ok and felt safe enough but when I got to topping it out it wasn’t that simple.had a rope attached and cut it partially then got off the ladder and pulled it down but this took several goes until enough fibres broke .but obviously this method of pikey tree work wasn’t particularly clever idea as there was a small chance it could have fallen in the wind onto me at any point when I was up there what could I have done differently apart from getting the climbing tickets or perhaps getting an even taller ladder and cutting a few foot at a time until it could go in one also feel like I been on a boat all afternoon the thing been swaying a lot
  25. Hey guys had the new Stihl HT133 pole saw out again on a job this morning. Cut some bigger stuff to start with and all good then some smaller holly branches which caused the chain to come off which broke the chain tensioning parts again .(already fixed it once ) When this happens and the chain comes off the bar what exactly can cause the parts to break if they weren’t previously over tightened and chain has always been set at right tension i am finding its superb for bigger stuff but no good at all for anything smaller than a thumbs diameter and won’t even bother trying again on those titty twigs after this carry on Thanks
