  1. Not sure about that problem. My QC330 stopped working completely. There is a small fuse inside that is soldered to a PCB. Haven't got round to changing it out to see if that helps. Were the batteries just used and still warm? Sometimes on quick chargers they spend a bit of time running through a cool down period when a battery goes on charge that has just been used. Might not be anything but that is all I know.... 👍
  2. A few of the waterfowl in good light.
  3. Saw a group of 3 drakes and 1 hen running about on the lawn earlier today.
  4. In the past I once had a piece of ash that gave me similar trouble not getting through the wood. I found two things. When the wood has been growing on a lean when cutting through the tension makes it a lot harder to mill through and obviously once milled it will just split and not been any good and won't dry flat either. Secondly I checked my mill and one of the bolts holding the cross piece in place was out by a couple of mm meaning I could not get through the wood as it would not slide and just kept jamming. Don't know if that helps. 👍
  5. I've had a couple of rhodos give up the ghost after the last couple of very dry spring/summers where I am. I would imagine the rhodo has been stressed more recently and as a result has contracted something such as the rust etc... Looks like its been in a fairly damp spot though based on the lichen, etc... growing on it. You could try giving it a good feed with something for rhodo's and see if that works. 👍
  6. +1 for rust. Have you raked off any dead leaves from beneath it? How long was it growing there happily?
  7. It’s bird nesting season. This duck has laid 15 eggs.
  8. Yeah impact wrench made all the difference. Drivers don’t have the torque you need for those bolts. Also if the bolt is sheared/rounded you might need to use a bolt extractor bit to get it off. 👍
  9. when you say impact driver, do you mean impact wrench? The torque on an impact driver will be less than a good impact wrench. I had issues getting my bolts undone on my wee chipper. Tried heat gun and a lot of welly on the impact driver, didn't budge. Did the impact wrench and it got the toughest bolt out.
  10. Yeah but they were wrong cos the end of the world ain’t happened. And there’s still ivy all over the place.
  11. Very kind words. 👍
  12. Good point and yes that's what I am after. Its been on the list for a while. I may just have to bite the bullet and do it sometime. 👍
  13. We had another hybrid goose turn up on the pond. Canada x Barnacle by the looks.
  14. Few tits out and about.
  15. Very true. I really want that little echo top handle battery, but already have husky and makita battery top handles. All good in their own way. 👍
  16. What country is it in ?
  17. Aspen 2 seems totally fine albeit a tad more expensive. Saws seem to like it a lot. 👍 a lot nicer to deal with than the old 2 stroke mix.
  18. How does the ethanol free fuel compare to aspen?
  19. Dry some and see if it burns. 👍
  20. It’s a bit of a hottie by the looks. 👍
  21. It’s gusty winds today. 50mph round here.
  22. Really cool work. That would need some patience to do. 👍
  23. You certainly can never have too many saws. Some people just don’t seem to understand that.... 👍🤣
