  1. Back working in Norfolk with Nick Bobby tree services and his great team this week.
  2. There’s a company called wabtec developments they seam to know a fair bit about all this.
  3. I agree but did not have time to make it fit. It’s not pretty but does the job.
  4. MultiOne also do traditional style rear mounted cab it’s called the sd series. The 9 series will lift a 2 ton pallet at full extent at lorry height.
  5. The extra weight is only 80kg. MultiOne the manufacturer have said on top of the normal factory supplied backlights of 180kg you can put an extra 200kg on top of this if required on the 6.3. (Have not been quoted on other models) the chassis, pivot etc is the same as the higher models so no issues regarding structure. It’s not for helping sales as it’s a hire/demo machine people are always over lifting things this has been added to help combat any problems that users may have.
  6. The bandit 2250n is a more productive grinder than a 252. Andcwirth considering. The extra sweep is great. The other one worth considering is the fsi d30 but it’s just over 30inches wide. I would say get a demo of both
  7. Yes a massive difference look at general euro van winter tyres. Very similar patterns to there all terrain and c rated for commercial use. I had them on a cabstar it went further off road than some 4x4s ever do. My yard was always 6inches in mud minimum. I find it highly worrisome some people put incorrect tyres on vehicles and send out subys or employees out with tyres not rated for the purpose. If there accidents and get investigated then there’s further issues for all involved. Get the right vehicle and tyre combo then there’s no issues.
  8. I ve got a 3.2 ranger and I am impressed with its mpg seams to do a consistent 28-30mpg with towing Loaders most days. Doesn’t even know they are there. I had a new d max before which was great apart from the body rusting. They sorted it under warranty but a 1 year old motors doors, roof, bonnet and around the windscreen rusting wasn’t very good.
  9. No I got it through MultiOne uk. But have spoken to guy in Durham he seams sound.
  10. I use one on my MultiOne I find it great for logs and If brash is the correct way no issue at all.
  11. Working with dryad arbor artists dismantling some lime trees on a tight acces site. If you zoom in you ll see the metal gate brackets only has cms to spare. Great crew and awesome kit.
  12. True but a much bigger price tag. Depends how many stumps you do. All quality bits of kit.
