  1. I will be having surgery on my spine and spinal cord in 10 days so will be closing Yorkshire Compact Loaders. Many thanks to all the Arbtalkers for work or just the general banter either on phone or via messenger. If anyone has any questions about Loaders in general do still feel free to contact me.
  2. Great chippers. Good solid machines that chip better than most. More reliable than some of the competitors and will hold better value if looked after.
  3. I ve got a gx125 it’s probably the best trailer I ve ever had. If you don’t need the width of the 6 ft wide versions it’s well worth the look
  4. Maybe on an Avant? Multione ones are A few hundred quid depending on what ones. It varies on the size. Think plastic parts on cars are not cheap and they are made in thousands. Can get special coatings and metal panels as replacements on some parts. A broken panel won t stop it working just won’t look good. Just replace or repair when needed. Save money up then replace fully when looking to sell or trade in then you have a almost new looking but of kit. Still much cheaper than buying some of the metal panelled brands that are still not as capable. Just abit of a faff that’s all. It’s a tool to be worked with sometimes things happen. For example remember the cost of the side panels on a tw150 where a few hundred quid each. There’s not much to them. Unfortunately as there not made in bulk prices are slightly higher. Don t let that put you off. The machine will save and make you lots of money over time of ownership.
  5. I know guys using them without but personally a heel will make it better and sit better and less swing in the grab. The rotator s are fast so you need to be careful of people, bodywork etc. I ve only used one a few times(I am yet to own one) and it takes some getting used to. The pressure of people watching their chipper etc doesn’t help. Get the guys practicing off site first. Personally I would have one with a cranked arm rather than straight this willl help with load centering, lift and visibility. They all have plus and and minus points but a rotator grab and big log grab and your sorted. I also like the look of Hywel’s recent one. This is is MultiOnes new offerings.
  6. If your looking to feed chippers with your machine then it is more effective.
  7. Or look at the bandit but that’s more money but being bandit you ll never have to buy another unless you upgrade
  8. All depends how many stumps you do personally Spend the extra and get the fsi. I had the predator 350’build quality was rubbish. Fsi good uk back up and much better machine.
  9. I use a ifor gx125 for carrying Loaders around etc. It’s been great and by far the nicest trailer I ve ever towed with. Here with over 2.5t of Loader and it felt no different to having 1t loaded
  10. Peruzzo machines are fantastic and having the added function of tracks makes it very versatile. Dans a fantastic bloke as well which helps. If I was to buy a wee chipper it would be either peruzzo or jo beau. Both fantastic kit well priced with a back up in the uk you can relie on. Just buy what suits your business.
  11. They did my old cabstar. Highly recommend
  12. Got at least a 8 wheeler load of alder, poplar and leylandii in long lengths. Is there any biomass company’s in this area I should contact or could be used for logs.
  13. Speak to Hywel Evans he ll make one for you
  14. Had a few messages about the parking area. I just used a 130cm general bucket. I ve now got teeth which would have made it easier. If I was doing it a lot I would invest in the mini digger attachment especially the one with hydraulic side shift. http://www.multione.com/wp-content/uploads/datasheet/en/24_mini_digger_multione_mini_loader_attachments.pdf
  15. That was done with a 5.3. I have a 6.3 now abit more power and greater lift.
  16. I did the parking area down by approximately 6 inches. I ve now got teeth to fit to bucket which will make it easier. If the soil is really dense you have to wiggle the bucket about. I did the whole of the parking area in about 2 1/2 hrs. Digging out moving the soil and bringing in the surface to lay down. All waste and surface material was about 150m away. The customer was very surprised I did not have a mini digger and even more surprised how quickly I did the job.
  17. Yes. Here’s a few jobs I ve done.
  18. Send me details I ve just sold a machine and the customer is after a trailer
  19. It’s going to be tight but can be done. Main problem you have is balancing it. Least with two attachments up front will help with nose weights. And it’s high up. I had a tipping trailer but soon swapped to a plant trailer. It snaked abit so would not go over 50 mph. If you take it easy I am sure you be fine. But plant trailer would be better.
