  1. I just renewed mine, did it online and must say for a gov site it was easy and quick, two weeks max and I had the new one. Got an idea it was cheaper that way too? NoPedigree
  2. I get dirty looks if I make a move to bed before 10 so end up watching something 9 till 10 when she invariably falls asleep… ho hum NoPedigree
  3. Each item, I’ve been on 5 different tablets for years now and used to get a pre paid annual card for about £125 I think which covered all scrips. Over 60 now so not needed now NoPedigree
  4. Sorry to be boring but Clearview for me also, the old man used and abused a 500 for best part of 30 years in Saddleworth. He is no, more but the stove with new bricks and baffle would go on for many years more, still looks good and burns well. NoPedigree
  5. In the pit after a couple of medicinal beers, as a family member is visiting and needed to put on a show, feeling a little sh*te after a few days testing positive (now negative) of the covid. hope a good sleep will be beneficial to the way I feel now…🙁 NoPedigree
  6. I’ve got an old Kirby, bought from loot (remember that?) bloody heavy but sucks better than Monica (another blast from the past). Do the house a few times a year with it to complement a battery dyson for regular use. NoPedigree
  7. Pretty carp here, more like October and stove lit, albeit a few flames, first time in July for me. NoPedigree
  8. Even better guide to prices on eBay, go to top right of the home page next to the search button click on “advanced” then select the “sold” tick box and it gives you actual sale prices. NoPedigree
  9. Thanks for this Spud, I will follow your advice and report back, I maybe some time…😀 NoPedigree
  10. Hi all, after some help please. Makita HTR5600 starts and ticks over no problem, when the blade is pointed up it will rev as normal but when the blade is lowered it starts bogging down and will cutout when vertical. Cleaned the air filter, tried with fuel cap lose, applying the choke with no effect. The only thing that does get it reving while pointed down is lightly pressing the primer bulb. Any advice or pointers would be much appreciated. NoPedigree
  11. I strongly suggest you don’t have a career change to advertising J! 😂 NoPedigree
  12. It looks more like dirty water marking to me, it being on the lower edge of the boards and also on those two vents. Is there a liner in the chimney? Would be worth a look around the flue outlet, is the staining coming from water washing off soot from the cowl. When it rains does water drip from the stack down the cladding? NoPedigree

It is certainly a simple fix on my, albeit a lot older model, pressing the lit button resets the tripped condition.. and Bob’s your uncle. NoPedigree
  14. That will never dry and burns crap according to some on here, I shall come round and dispose of them for you… I’m thoughtful that way, it’s the way I am I’m afraid 😀 NoPedigree
  15. Looking at the top hinge it ain’t going to lift off like a field gate… is there a hole under the top hinge, if so does the top pin have an Allen key head too? Although I suspect the following.. Other thought is is the bottom pin mushroom headed ( flattened and made fatter like a rivet) like spud asked? If so it (the mushroom headed pin) must be able to be pulled out now the grub screw is out. Plenty of WD AND try twisting it using mole grips. if that don’t work or even before trying fit the rope on the door as is. Get the right diameter rope and rope glue and hold it in place with plenty of masking tape for a day or so. good luck NoPedigree
