  1. Hi Alec, at the moment I'm looking at a 20" bar 1.3mm but have been unable to find a sprocketed bar. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. Thanks Hewn. Will take a look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. Thanks, so we're saying not perfect but should be ok for starters . Need to watch chain tension and for burning oil. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  4. Festive greetings all, Just unwrapping my new Stihl ripping bar for an MS661/Logosol set up and it has no sprocket on the end. Whilst I accept this is probably correct - the bar was bought to match the chains provided by Logosol and had Logosol in the notes column of the Stihl catalog. My question is why/how? Thanks guys Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. I wore this 3M from Amazon for doing loft wood treatment. It was ok to breath but pretty hot. Glasses would steam up. Guess it's better than dying from mushroom infested lung Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  6. Heli Logging or is that overkill? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  7. You could try speaking with Adrian at http://wholewoods.co.uk/. He might be able to help and/or advise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. Assuming you've looked at woodlots round wood for what it's worth? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. I'd try comfrey either natural compress or shop bought balm. Worked amazingly on my sprained ankle to the point that so much oxygenated blood went to my ankle my heart raced and I almost fainted! Also see a specialist - for cortisone to work has to injected into the right spot and not randomly squirted in the approximate area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  10. http://www.wood-database.com/wood-articles/wood-allergies-and-toxicity/. Appears to be an irritant. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  11. http://megavanmats.com - has everything you need including waterproof carpet for when your needs require. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  12. You need to use 'light' headlining carpet designed specifically to avoid the top heavy effects of normal carpet. It's also stretchy so is able to follow the contours of the van. It will still probably need to be plylined first. Also to help you think about insulation http://davies-barnard.co.uk/tag/insulation-2/ I used sticky back rubber from a sound installer to damp the panels but previously had used sticky backed flashing to same effect. 13. Definitely need high temp spray adhesive and even then you need to get good coverage. Not enough it will come off and too much it comes through. I think I used about 10 tins of the stuff to do a LWB T5. Roof and Sides. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. From my website http://davies-barnard.co.uk/2014/04/carpeting-2/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. Have a look at the T4 forum - loads of info there. Also check out megavanmats. I've done a few camper conversions and it's straight forward and increasingly easy with practice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  16. Did these guys do what I think they did or were the trees all miraculously that weak they tumbled like dominoes? https://imgur.com/gallery/ofmg4lG Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  17. Turn off your virus/firewall briefly and see if it works. If it does it's being blocked. Turn them back on and bug fix! I'm a mac/Linux user so there might be a way that doesn't involve disabling them but you'd have to google it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  18. Ditto all the above. Ask if he'll let you tackle some smaller jobs. Is he good mates with the freelancer? Maybe that's why he gets the work? If so maybe boss man will support you being mentored by him - worthwhile if he's bloody good . Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  19. Got a good price for my MS171. Some stuff goes for crazy good prices. Would never sell another kitesurf kite on there thou. Go for crazy bad prices! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  20. Very sad and I don't expect that even in the case of a legitimate felling anything nice/worthy will be made from the timber either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I disagreed with you upon first reading and now I realise I agree with you - it's just wording. Our Fiskers Brush Cutter is light and easy to grip (or as you put it easiest to hand) and it stays sharp (so needs little effort to keep sharp). It's the go to tool when we work in the woods and everyone is always trying to get their paws on it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Love my fiskars X7 and their brush cutter X3(?) is also amazing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  23. This is really interesting. Thanks Guys. Keen to hear about ideas for getting flat bottoms? I did think about using a bearing router to clean up the bottom? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  24. Well. I bought one anyway. Got 12 month warranty on it. Must admit it looked a bit more abused than I'd hoped for but it's also about the budget and amount I'm going to use it. Apparently they come from the Stihl sales guys? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  25. I was looking for the answer to the same question but a different purpose. Could someone chuck a link to a good supplier? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
