  3. What work? Who are you taking with you? Or lone working with a chainsaw?
  4. Up to £2.5k. A month. Will take months to come through. ****ed.
  5. ????? Bullshit. Don't fall for that mate. They've changed the setup, but it's still fecking evil. Oh it's "barn raised" now? You seen them barns... Same ones as they used for the batteries.... Bit like can't buy margarine now. But you can buy veg/buttery spread... They changed the name!!!!!!!!!!! That's All. And the public fall for it again. ??‍♂️[emoji849]?
  6. I'm looking into ram raiding and rustling. Cos if we don't get any help in the next month or so... That's what I'll be doing to feed my family. [emoji106]
  7. 3/8 and .404 are the nearly the same kerf. Also go RS with stihl chains. You've got a broom handle to hold your mill together??? [emoji849]
  8. But a 48" full compliment takes 20-40 minutes [emoji51]
  9. Hand filing will take a while to learn well, Hyper skip or full skip chains work well with long bars. I can probably hand sharpen a 84" hyperskip quicker than I could change the chain. As they have so few teeth. [emoji106]
  10. In the picture of your car, the mill is missing the top bar? Is this because of the winch handle?
  11. Where the feck did you extrapolate that from??? I just pointed out that the actions of ONE hungry Chinese guy does not reflect on over a billion individuals. Culturally we are all pretty hideous. ?[emoji6][emoji106]
  12. You're right. Here in the "civilised"(???) west, we keep the majority of our chickens in cages smaller than a sheet of A4. Never being able to move or see the sun or be outdoors. Or just read any British cookbook from pre 20th century. [emoji106] Yes you can eat badger, a very strong gamey flavour, best mixed with pork in a rillete. [emoji848][emoji106]
  13. Tomorrow evening there will be an announcement about SE. According to Boris this evening.

  15. Can't remember what the guy said, Something about selling 16,000 birds in two weeks, not Sussex as they don't have fluffy feet. Both were "breeds" as he'd sold everything else. [emoji106]
  16. Got one in Huddersfield. [emoji106]
  17. Mine too. Relieved. [emoji106]
  18. Just bought 3 hens. They will eat plants/grass/grain and kitchen waste. Hopefully producing eggs. Planting loads of salads and veg. It's either that piracy [emoji572]️ [emoji848]?[emoji106]
  19. Your quite useful aren't you Les[emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  20. Most uk hardwoods (from my understanding) are only carcinogenic if breathing seasoned sawdust. Fresh apparently is ok. (Not all species). It's the spalted/rotten stuff I'm wary of. Guy who runs my yard has a permanent fungal infection of the lungs.
  21. Hi Gonger, I like your setup. Very nice [emoji106] You should be able to mill at least 2 logs 2.5 x 0.9m in a day. What Saw and engine is that? I used to have several chillaskan mills and saws pre set to different cut heights. 661 with 200mm set for first cut, Then 880 at 50-100mm fir slabbing. Some times a second and third 660/661 if we could halve the log. As well as a couple of cross cut saws, Ladders drills,straps............ Lots of fun. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
