  1. It’s a great saw if you can get it to work properly. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  2. On the flip side.... Contraception? [emoji6][emoji106]
  3. Yes. Traditionally you would clearfell the intended area like with sweet chestnut. Otherwise the growth goes at all angles to reach the light. Straight vertical wands, poles, rods and staves were the desired products. You’d have to clear a large area traditionally because of the deer damage too. [emoji106]
  4. That’s the problem, It’ll cost me that again, maybe more to make it tasty.[emoji6] But very tempting. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  5. I think there’s quite a list.... Bread.... Footwear... Fire? Art? But it’s probably a chainsaw? [emoji6][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  6. Final vehicle in this country?.... [emoji848][emoji106]
  7. Only curious..... What price shipped to the uk? [emoji848][emoji106]
  8. Must be some differences surely? (Looks sweet[emoji6][emoji106])
  9. Other than the usual plastic plant boards...🤷🏽‍♂️ Personally I’d get the client to sign a disclaimer waivering any damages to the driveway. Otherwise the risk isn’t worth the job.
  10. You came on a public forum... Asked for opinions... Didn’t like them... ... ... 🤣[emoji106]
  11. That’s mis use of language. I’ve got some good friends from Crete. [emoji106]
  12. Photos? In many months time the photos will be out of date. Your tree will have changed. Dead standing trees are very dangerous. Especially in a urban environment. Very expensive to remove compared to a living tree. And your tree surgeon knows this. Good luck
  13. That was before the damage... Think you’ll find the next quote considerably higher, what with the crane hire now needed. Ouch.
  14. It’s dead. Just doesn’t know it yet. Looks like a professional did it too. Nice clean line at top, Regular lines of axe cuts. I’ll bet your neighbours would have seen something... 🤬🤬🤬🤬
  15. There’s a big difference in the 881 to the 880. I’d pick up a 661 over an 880 everyday for felling or cross cutting. But over 30” I go straight for the 881 now. [emoji106]
  16. It’s bigger, with lots more torque. A 661 will pull 36”-42” full comp 3/8 full chisel but that’s about it limit. An 881 will pull 84”+ full comp .404 or more if using skip or hyper skip. From top 880,661 and 881 [emoji106]
  17. I worked for Bob 3 years ago when I first moved up here. Good bloke, very knowledgeable. [emoji106]
  18. Nightmare site though!!!🤣[emoji106]
  19. Nice colour to that oak mate [emoji108][emoji108][emoji108]
  20. It’s during the cut, sawdust will fly about and settle. Even a couple of mm will cause problems. And you can’t be waving a brush about whilst holding a mill. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  21. Why do you think all manufacturers use square or rectangular? [emoji6][emoji106]
