  1. This is wonkydonkey's 660 big bore 100cc ported, running about 14.5k rpm no load, over 11k in the wood. same bar and chain and log. ????
  2. Interested to see what difference between the two is. So if you've got a stock or ported, post a video of what it'll do. first vid stock 661 36" 3/8 full chisel. IMG_1617.MOV
  3. Made me laugh IMG_1555.MP4
  4. I think Vespasian's account has been hacked. Look at his last comment. Some of it makes sense. [emoji12][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  5. Standing ovation [emoji1319][emoji1319][emoji1319]
  6. I had a mate, 18stone 6' bodybuilder, told he was grossly obese. Fittest, strongest bloke you'd meet. Bmi bollox. But on the subject of ported 660's Wonkydonkey's ported 660 out cut my stock 661 yesterday in a 24" log with 36" bar. 661- 21 seconds 660- 19 seconds If some one could tell me how to post vids, I'll put them up. [emoji106][emoji12]
  7. That's not a groundie, That's a climber, (he's wearing a harness). [emoji12]
  8. Donnk could you tell us more about your setup? Do you still need a separate charge control for the input? House battery. I like the idea of that. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  9. George monbiot used to turn up to environmental actions in the ninety and try to hijack them for his cause. Another posh, self publicising, twat. Reminds me of Russell brand. [emoji51]
  10. You put a lot of good points across. But how is using the word "mate" an instant fail? [emoji106]
  11. What area and kind of panels? Looks very sleek. [emoji106]
  12. Bought a "Yale 1.6 ton cable puller" (Same as a tirfor) A few months back. Heavy but seriously powerful. The only draw back is the slowness when dragging a trunk along the ground. And they're half the price of a tirfor. Let's see how long it lasts. If only you could have an option to mount a saw engine on it. [emoji106]
  13. I'm moving up to Huddersfield around the 6th may. What's the arb scene like up there? Will be looking for a small yard too. [emoji106]
  14. Got days free next week. [emoji106]
  15. Stihl 084 is a cracking milling saw, the 880 is good too. But if I were in your boat I'd probably get a husky, just so you can swap bars etc. If you're not milling over 30" a 395 maybe? Or my fave the 661. [emoji106]
  16. Ooh look a combi can with two spouts for half the price of a stihl one. 3 months later... Messy. I now own several stihl combi cans and only once did a spout explode. Stihl replaced it for free. 3 years on, all good.
  17. Guys in the workshop next me convert commercial vans into camper vans. Think the conversion costs about £5k. Insulated, electrics, windows etc.
  18. Put a large hood over them and they think it's night time. Good man for making the effort. [emoji12]
  19. I worked for a guy years ago who used big commercial poly tunnels for drying. Worked ok. I'm guessing height would be an issue for loading etc in a smaller one.
  20. Anyone need a groundie in Sussex?
  21. It's easier to cut sapwood off with a benchsaw when it's a plank, than try with a chainsaw in the trunk. [emoji106]
  22. One thing worked for a mate of mine on here. Spring loaded side bolts on strings going into door sideways inside the wall. Kiddys had to smash the roof to get in, then they tried smashing the door from inside. That's what woke me up. Caught the scrote, all 7 stone teenager. £200 fine for non Dom burglary. Next one I catch won't be waiting for the police to turn up. [emoji603][emoji541]
