The job went well with no injuries and that’s great, mark being 65 your old school and have probably seen it all and as you say job went swimmingly, all the guys went home healthy and most importantly got paid however do you not agree that cutting at neck height is well just plain stupid especially given to remedy that the guy only had to spike up a little more?

Stereotypical to think they’ll buy heroin though Mick. Saying that though I never give money to homeless, much prefer buying them food and a hot drink as I think it’s more likely to help them short term than a tenner.

I’ll take everyone at face value after meeting them and I certainly won’t begrudge anyone trying to earn a crust irrelevant of how professional or not they may be. Everybody starts at the bottom, everyday you can learn something new and there is always somebody better so on the same token there has to be worse but at least there working or at the least trying too.

Again not sure why your bothered it’s not just in Arb and to be honest your coming across wayyyy too arrogant! Everybody is allowed to earn a crust irrelevant of background, credentials or professionalism. It wont be stamped out, move on like you said you have 3 years work to be cracking on with, they obviously don’t affect you.

Maybe I’m going mad or confusing you with someone else? still why do you care about others in the trade if your so booked up? I mean think of it another way, you weren’t a consideration for the job initially and if a firm turned up and done the job no problems it would have been one less you where paid on.

@Gaz-exRMwasn’t it yourself who not long ago posted about chucking it in as you was struggling for work? If so and your now booked up for 3 years that’s some turn around. Im struggling to comprehend why you would give a shit about anyone else being in this sector and making a crust regardless of professionalism or lack of if you have 3 years work on your books!! Surely you have enough on your plate?

Do you have a washer under the locking nut/lever as there is supposed to be one and without it the chute moves.

Absolutely agree and in finicky trees my prices for pruning can be not far off price for removal. Far more skill and a delicate touch needed to prune than fell, IMO of course.

My sh1t humour Eggs lost in translation but the point is we only have 2 players p1ssing in the same pot, it would do no harm and shake things up a little if we had a 3rd viable option but the fact is we don’t.

just skip to 10 mins 20 secs to get to the Brexit bit, again we have an awful lot to offer but seemingly undersell ourselves! Why as as a nation do we undersell ourselves? On a political level it’s because they are all pissing in the same pot. I’d love to see a genuine 3rd viable option to vote for, instead it’s I vote for .... because my dad does.

Just bought a new van and wondering how everyone has gone on with converting a normal tipper body to an arb body? Im definitely hands on and up for fabricating something myself but looking at different options. Ali boards, steel frame and sheet etc etc Also after some good suppliers of materials at competitive prices too. Thanks guys.
