  1. If middle eastern universities where that bad how com we keep kidnapping their doctors? Eh well that’s a wrap for me on this one.
  2. Matey boy has bent his narrative to finally fit, it has took him all day to get to taking skilled workers from a country makes that country worse, well no shit Sherlock. However we are not taking them they as individuals are choosing to come here to first and foremost earn more money irrelevant of trade/profession. How is that different to what he did working in the Middle East? It isn’t he’s a hypocrit to say its wrong for them to come here but not he there.
  3. I may be wrong on this 1 but are you on drugs?
  4. Welcome to the club of being a hardcore racist He chose to follow the money trail and ended up working in the Middle East yet begrudges skilled immigration doing the same this way?!?!
  5. So your happy to use a bbc article now to bend to your narrative but every other day you slate the bbc as biased and extreme leftist?! Your a confusing soul! Again do we take them or do the skilled workers choose to work here for better pay and conditions LIKE YOU working in the Middle East?! You are a horrible hypocrit! So now you are accusing me of being a hardcore racist, please confirm that you are calling me a hardcore racist. Also provide evidence of me being a hardcore racist. I’m confused now so Ill explain why, multiple times on this very thread I have said that we need and should continue to have immigration within the UK sooo I embrace different races heck I’ve served my country alongside people from different nations and races. YET you have expressed time and again that you do not agree with or want immigration within the UK Hmmm who’s the racist? Leprosy is a serious disability which can now be treated with meds so let me ask you this do we give foreign AID to India? Which like I said will overtake us as an economy next year. Is there a direct correlation that we are contributing to Indian deaths or is leprosy actually falling in India? Whats interesting is you feel we are contributing to Indias downfall however India is now going through one of the biggest leprosy eradication programs in the world. No doubt helped by foreign aid. Again read my first sentence then bend the world to your narrative. I’m here all day by the way.
  6. I could list multiple words/terms that have been used and been around for decades, it won’t however mean they are any less discriminatory or racist! I won’t name them as you would then label me a racist to fit with your warped narrative. Anyhow in simple terms do you think we as a country/government/NHS are taking people from other countries such as India OR do you theink the people as individuals are choosing to live and work here similarly to yourself choosing to work in the Middle East? highly doubt you’ll answer that as your attention span can only muster a sentence before you pre determined guff spout kicks in.
  7. Oh well that’s ok then carry discriminating! It’s ok they’ll never know they have other things to worry about. Rich westerners, I can’t speak for you as you have worked where the money is taking from poorer economies before coming home with your spoils where as I am anything but rich
  8. Absolutely! The delivery and intent are more telling than the words themselves.
  9. I hear you, I’m a spade is a spade kind of guy however I’m merely pushing the PC narrative with matey boy to highlight his double standards and hypocrisy. He wants a large cake and to eat it whilst spitting out crumbs of narrative he’s made up to suit his agenda.
  10. He’s like an itch your not allowed to scratch
  11. Read my last post and answer it properly and I’ll bother to offer the same courtesy with this post. Failing that I’ll be as lazy as you. Are you discriminating against disabled people with leprosy by labelling them Lepers?
  12. Tbh I stopped reading after your first sentence .... If you can’t be bothered reading my post you’ll be the same with your life’s view. See what you WANT, read what you WANT then twist it to fit your narrative. Im out.
  13. India, to use your example, has already surpassed the UK in terms of economical strength and it is projected to overtake us in the league tables next year so one could argue doctors from India are coming to the UK to lend a hand to our shortage in that profession. As for using the term lepers surely that’s discrimination again disabled people with leprosy? It is you who spouts guff! Hmm from India to Africa ok here goes. I think we are around the 5th largest contributor to foreign aid with 60% direct contributions going straight to nations in need and would you believe it Africa is the biggest beneficiary at around 2.5 billion a year however 40% of our aid budget is bilateral so it goes to organisations such as the UN so our contribution to Africa will be greater with 3rd party contributions from the likes of the UN added on. I highly doubt the wages and tax paid into our economy by doctors who work here from Africa match the figures we give back to them. Please show me where I put a value/worth on any life in those exact words as I don’t recall that I did however your constant dislike for multi culturalism not working and not wanting immigration into the UK is surely more racist and supremacist than I have ever shown. I didn’t state there was I merely pointed towards your hypocrisy that it’s ok for you to work overseas but not for immigrants to work in the UK. When you worked in the Middle East did you stay there for longer than 6 months before visiting Home as to avoid paying tax to the UK therefore earning more personally or did you take your moral compass and contribute to the UK tax system whilst working abroad? After all you are pro UK!
  14. So it’s not ok for doctors from outside the UK to move here for more money, better standards and better equipment to carry out their practice of helping people YET it’s ok for you to go to the Middle East to earn more money?! Quick Q @matelot when you worked in the Middle East was your first stint longer than 6 months before returning for a break? ?
  15. I call oxymoron.
  16. Be ok with a battery top handle, that said I’m so used to comms kit now ear defence is a must.
  17. Nice! Let us know how you get on.
  18. You bought the rock exotica uni Khriss? Let us know your thoughts after use please.
  19. Must be challenging in those types of conditions Rich?! Do you notice a performance difference in your saws?
  20. This is true however a car and lorry’s purpose is for travel and negative thoughts may not carry the temptation to use a vehichle in said way. A gun be it pistol or rifle in intended for one thing and someone with negative thoughts will be more tempted to use one for its intended purpose than say use a car for a purpose it wasn’t intended for.
  21. Yes I here you both @TIMON @Steve Bullman However I had ZZ then tried a mates SJ3 and loved it. The lock out feature is great for work positioning and I lock mine out for every cut.
  22. Hi John, at £150 I’d snap their hands off. It does seem bulky at first but it really fits the hand well, descent is really easy and very controlled with the thumb brake and hand lever. Ascent is great, once you get to limbs etc you can literally climb the tree and just push rope through the SJ3 with ease. The lock out feature is great too for work positioning. Its only drawback is they hate friction so if you climb climb a lot of big trees and use natural redirects you’ll have to swap natural for strap and biner to keep everything silky smooth. Mine is paired with a ropeguide and the combination is effortless. Before SJ3 I was on a ZZ and hands down prefer SJ3, each to their own however.
  23. Where did I say I believed the daily mail? More to the point can you show me where I referenced the DM? thanks.
  24. What do people make of this Corbyn and Soviet spy business?
  25. There’s one in Ambleside on the stock ghyll force waterfall walk.
