  1. Eeeek, thanks for the heads up. Big J had a good suggestion of running washing up liquid in the water tank to handle the sap. Ive never worked with Larch, it really seems to have a lovely colour. I'll buy the whole stand and whats not Milling Grade will pass through the Stove. So no waste at all. I'm toying with the idea of using some oak in the design as well? Still have a few tons sitting and have more to mill in the summer. I know many think its a bad deal but someone has a bunch of Sticks and I said I'll take half of them and mill the other half for him. Some really nice slow growth Scottish Oak. We'll see.
  2. Love that! Looks Beautiful. Im getting a load of Larch in when I get home. Getting the whole stand of it. Not sure how much is there yet. Its not old, but was planted just over 50 years ago.
  3. Cheers, appreciate it.
  4. The main issue for me is the neighbor is a cock. So really I want to do this as simply as possible with out going down the paperwork route. Yes, its on the OS Maps/ Title Plan. Its just been a slab since Ive lived there though.
  5. Sounds amazing! Any pics?
  6. Interesting! Might be the way forward. Can you bring utilities up to it?
  7. Good point! Build a Cabin on wheels! No ones gonna test if its road worthy! Or Clad a Caravan.
  8. Ive been reading up on whats allowed in Scotland. Seems you can build Shed, Out Building, Summer house etc without much issue. I fit well within the criteria of land available and boundaries. But my Neighbors a cock and if my daughter slept in there he'd surely grass.
  9. Even if it was just a Summer House? Seems Summer Houses get a pass, but you're no allowed to live in them. Whats classed as living in them though?
  10. Yip, Im with you on that front. It BS that its always some former head of this and that that pokes his head above the sand. For it to be really effectual acting heads need to call China out. As they're not very little will happen other than some tutting and head shaking. Then it will be back to business with China again.
  11. And? What are you trying to prove? Again, to dumb it down for you. Eggy stated that the UK has more deaths per day than the EU combined. I said this was false and you jump on the bandwagon by initially not even understanding the request then posting something that proves you and Eggy where wrong. But supposedly I need to 'dig deeper'! What a fucking clown. So, when you're ready, that proof to the contrary, please. All the above shows is the UK is doing a shit job of it, no one is disputing that. Are you really this stupid? Would a Fisher Price Learning Pad help?
  12. Well in the very limited context Mick gave the UK was the worst. He had to limit the countries of course as the UK is not even the worse in the EU. The deaths in the UK are not great, but as you say certainly not the worse, by a long shot.
  13. Oh absolutely. No ones disputing that.
  14. So I have a 12m x 3m Concrete Slab out the back of the property. It was originally a pig pen back in the 60's/70's but (I guess) importantly is down on the drawings so getting planning permission, should I need it might be easier? Up til a week ago I was planning on using it for drying slabs of wood but my Wifes suggested that we make it onto a Cabin of sorts for my 17 year old Daughter. I quite like that idea and when she moves out to go to Uni it would be perfect for guests staying. Does anyone know if planning Permission would be needed for something like this? I dont think I'd be bring power and water up to it but if bringing water up to it was no issue I would. Electricity would most likely just be solar Power and batteries. Basically a small living area with a small kitchen and a bedroom. A toilet and shower would be on the cards if planning permission was not an issue. Id rather not apply for planning permission and if I dont have to but my neighbor will stick his nose in and intentionally cause bother so it would need doing by the book according to whats legal in Scotland. If no permission is needed then I'll just tell him to bugger off. As for designs Im not 100% sure. Id like to try my hand at Timber framing and could follow the project in a book I have, but I also like the other design Ive posted. But as there is such a nice view out over the fields and hills behind me Id like to put big windows in.
  15. Well thats not quite what it says. This is what it says; Number of coronavirus (COVID-19) deaths in Europe since February 2020, by country Published by Conor Stewart, May 26, 2020 As of May 24, 2020, there have been 173,454 deaths in Europe overall due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) since the first recorded European death in France on February 15. The most deaths have occurred in the United Kingdom at 36,675. April 4 was the virus' deadliest day so far in Europe with 5,209 deaths recorded in 38 different European countries. While on May 24, 935 deaths were recorded across 28 countries.
  16. Look a bit deeper? No, all the facts are there for everyone to see. You simply cannot prove what you're so desperate to and have to resort to 'dig a bit deeper'. No one is saying 282 deaths is good or bad, thats not the point, but nice Strawman. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1102288/coronavirus-deaths-development-europe/ So either post up the proof that the UK has more deaths a day than the EU or shut the fuck up. Go on! You can do it!
  17. I asked for proof and you initially failed to comprehend that simple request and they you sent me something that proves the contrary. [emoji3] The latest complete figures I could find are for the 24th of May. They show that the EU deaths where greater than that of the UK, which should be obvious to anyone. Is why Eggy never replied to my comment and why you are desperately trying to prove me wrong. Looks like you have Egg on your face. Not for the first time I imagine.
  18. Yeh, read it all. Was easy to find the deaths of each EU Country, so thanks for the link. When tallied up its more than what we have in the UK in the same time frame. So thanks for that.
  19. Ok cheers, I had a quick read and it says there is still more deaths in the EU daily than in the UK. Thanks anyway,
  20. Certainly no point in asking you. I asked for evidence that the combined EU deaths from C-19 where less than the weekly deaths in the UK, so you posted a link to the deaths in England and Wales. Well, thanks, I already know that. Now back to what I actually asked for......
  21. What does that link show other than the deaths in the UK?
  22. Like China, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, etc etc. The populations of these countries tend to not have guns, thats because they take them away from their people and then rule them with an iron fist.
  23. Lets see a pic when you find it!
  24. Do you have any links to these claims? Last I looked we had a hundred and seventy odd deaths a day in the UK. Are you saying that the whole of the EU combined has less deaths per day than that? I find that very hard to believe. And again, it surely comes down to how the deaths are recorded, it seems some countries are recording deaths by C-19 and some where its a factor. But I agree, we're being told a pack of lies. With the US in Melt Down and at the supposed height of the pandemic the whole country decided to completely ignore safe distancing and in fact the complete opposite is happening yet NY is stating they had zero confirmed C-19 cases yesterday. SO in the UK with measures in place 170+ deaths a day. NY with zero measures in place and zero deaths? https://www.nydailynews.com/coronavirus/ny-coronavirus-deaths-confirmed-covid-de-blasio-20200604-a5dfx2l6hvgwlll4vou67zrqla-story.html Sounds like its all a crock of shite to me. I'll leave the cowering at home to others.
  25. Did your education include this fact?
