  1. Probably not eggs in reality, in person a genuinely decent helpful bloke 🤷‍♂️I take people as I find them. The internet and these type of forums in particular brings out the worst in us, we all without exception often speak pure and utter shit.
  2. I’m genuinely curious, can you put up a few of these ideas you think are the right ones. We’ve had two green bought and paid for ministers in Scotland and to be honest they have been ridiculously incompetent. I’d say any government new or existing has what is basically an impossible task to make the numbers balance out after the last few years.
  3. What part of my contempt for the politicians who ran the show during covid do you struggle to comprehend?? the original post was about Sturgeon or did you miss that. You vociferously supported every failed, costly, damaging and misguided measure during covid, you and you alone have to live with how wrong you were 🤷‍♂️ from that there is zero hiding, try as you may to be smug and a smart arse about this , the facts and your utterly ridiculous written arguments on the covid thread don’t lie. Walk on by 42 rather than trying desperately to point out how you and you alone get the point.
  4. You could always as I said to 42 ignore it and walk on by eh 🤷‍♂️rather than taking the time to reply. Super super easy, try it, I do it loads if I find something tiresome.
  5. Whats embarrassing is how when you look back at the relentless too and fro arguments of the covid vaccine thread is how utterly mistaken you have proven to be in just about every way, including the catastrophic damage done to so much of our society that was absolutely predictable. If I had made a big as fool of myself as you did 42 over the past couple of years, tried to defend what you did and got it so so wrong I’d be keeping my head down not putting up piss poor crap like this and alluding to people supposedly missing the point, If you don’t like it ignore it eh, walk on by “easy”
  6. I’m not barking mark at anyone, I wish Boris had gone with his initial instinct and adopted more of a Swedish way of approaching things but the clamour for action was utterly deafening( media driven too) as for going with the rules, you are an educated man are you not, if dumb arses like myself and a few others on here can work out it’s bollocks then so could most others surely. My contempt for the political types who led us during that farcical period is absolute mark, but I am not blinded by political allegiance, i remember those who wanted more restrictions etc etc. I liken the current mentality to that period to that of people looking to blame someone for behaving like a tool on a sat night, we’ve all been there bud, woke up thinking why the hell did I do that. Then conveniently blaming the guy whose idea it was to hit the town that night. Boris gave all those who wanted everything we witnessed exactly what they clamoured for. As for management of a shit storm Mark the vast majority of first world countries ****************ed up the response to covid massively. Have you read the John Hopkins study ?? .
  7. Mark you got what you asked for during covid did you not restrictions, lock downs, vaccine mandates etc etc, all a load of bollocks according to the John Hopkins report !!. Let’s face it Mark anyone with half a brain was ignoring the vast majority of the stupid rules including myself and I’ve no doubt you too. You want him strung up for the partygate affair or you want him strung up for feeling like a twat for buying into all of the shite !!. I do recall you telling us how much you admired old Krankie mind and how she handled things ie lock down sooner for longer etc etc etc just as Labour in England clamoured for.
  8. Novak Djokovic: Tennis star wins record 23rd Grand Slam after victory at French Open APPLE.NEWS Novak Djokovic has won a record-breaking 23rd men's singles Grand Slam title after victory in the... You have to admire the man’s dedication and character, absolutely vilified by the media and governments around the world he stood his ground and refused to take an experimental vaccine of dubious efficacy at best and downright dangerous at worst.
  9. Nicola Sturgeon arrested amid investigation into SNP finances APPLE.NEWS The former first minister of Scotland and leader of the Scottish National Party was arrested on... Never mind Boris and the petty covid bollocks, that’s made my day to see that lying divisive control freak arrested.
  10. 3 days on-site milling for a regular customer, mix of Oak,Chestnut, Ash, Elm, Walnut and beech. Few nails here and there but only had to resort to tipped blades once. The greenheart I milled recently for a pal is being put to use straight away for some outdoor furniture.
  11. The two screen grabs are from a guy on LI who called out Sturgeon and the utter madness from day one, often to a tirade of abuse. The lunatics absolutely took over the asylum during covid, what was shocking was how easy and quickly it happened.
  12. Lockdown benefits ‘a drop in the bucket compared to the costs’, landmark study finds WWW.TELEGRAPH.CO.UK Researchers say draconian measures taken in spring 2020 had 'negligible impact' on Covid... I’d say the current ridiculously expensive covid enquiry instead of getting all worked up over people’s personal messages should maybe focusing on the damage caused by the approach taken. Study after study is coming to the same conclusion that the likes of Sweden and those who protested against the lockdowns were right and the majority of countries and people who backed such draconian measures were utterly wrong. A bitter pill to swallow but true nonetheless. Sky news was running this report this morning and unbelievably they quoted “ professor Neil Ferguson” Mr lockdown modelling who apparently disagrees with its findings !!!!! No shit !! Obviously a history of expensive and damaging failures going back years has done nothing to dent his confidence. The amount of guts it’s gonna take for someone in a position of power at that time to now stand up and say “ we messed up and took the wrong approach” is just not out there I’m afraid.
  13. Nice set up 👍 you building the shed around the mill as you go ??
  14. No easy coin the last 3 days Andy left home at 0500 on Thursday and got back at 0015 last night, selection of DF cladding and some oversized slabs for outdoor furniture projects and a load of elm slabs. Right on the limit with some of them. Milled up some old greenheart beams off a job I was on over the winter for a mate, cut surprisingly well with 10/30 double hard woodmizer blades, I’d ran out of 4s so had no choice. Much happier with how the blades are cutting in general now I’m sharpening my own.
  15. I would say Starmer is making a great job of letting people know well in advance of what Labour intends to be like. He’s shot Labour right in the foot and handed the SNP a gift with his North Sea ban bollocks up here.
  16. Tories demand Labour return £1.5m in donations from green energy boss who backs Just Stop Oil WWW.DAILYMAIL.CO.UK Dale Vince, the multi-millionaire founder of Ecotricity, has made a series of donations to Labour over... At least we now know his price.
  17. Where do I get this add on Mark?? A solar panel and a few buckets of water to keep the sawmill going 👍👍
  18. I don’t but the words of these delusional idiots has an effect, after years of SNP/Green stupidity the UK sector NSea does not need a fool like starmer pandering to certain groups to garner a bit of perceived extra support. The constant lies regurgitated by politicians regarding the so called “ thousands of renewable jobs” is a joke, even a modicum of basic research will show we get the crumbs off the back of these projects here but literally pay 100% of the bill in the long term.
  19. Starmer plans to block all new North Sea oil and gas developments APPLE.NEWS Sir Keir Starmer will announce plans to block all new North Sea oil and gas developments and limit... Utter nonsense and totally indicative of the man, not to mention extremely dangerous for the UK to introduce a policy that will make us even more reliant on imported products. He should pop over to Norway and see how a sensible long term policy is being implemented. Throw in his knee taking blm shit and it’s no wonder he’s not that far ahead of Sunak. The green energy superpower waffle just does not stand up to any form of scrutiny whatsoever.
  20. Cashless Britain is a disaster waiting to happen APPLE.NEWS Relentless march towards digital payments doesn’t benefit the average consumer Hopefully people wake up at some point to what this cashless society might actually be like rather than just being lazy and going for the easy option. Me personally if they won’t take cash I won’t shop with them. Not a huge loss but if millions adopted the same attitude then I’ve no doubt the policies would rapidly disappear.
  21. Labour's Rachel Reeves flies in 'luxury' then tries to hide the evidence by photoshopping picture of her ticket APPLE.NEWS Labour's Rachel Reeves has been criticised after editing photos posted to her Twitter in an... Had to laugh when I read this, the old champagne socialist click within Labour is alive and well. I wonder if the likes of those legendary working class icons Blair and Mandleson would lower themselves to flying in such humble seats.
  22. You just need to watch how the police in Australia dealt with things a short while ago to realise how they are capable of behaving.
  23. Yeah decent size Andy at least 1.3m diameter, too much to trim to fit the mill, Alaskan wasn’t too slow at slabbing it up. The lad who I was doing it for is a joiner and has plans for his property which is where the beams will end up eventually, Job was on the family farm where we had use of a decent telehandler and to be honest he was very hands on knew what was what and mucked in for the whole day which helped. Long day 13hrs on-site plus travel but worth it. looking forward to getting back into dive control for a rest 😂.
  24. Rishi, it falls to you to cure the national malaise Covid has spread APPLE.NEWS COMMENT
  25. Record numbers not working due to ill health APPLE.NEWS Mental health issues and back and neck pain have contributed to the rise in long-term sickness. Mental health issues !! back and neck issues due to home working 😞🤷‍♂️the insanity that was covid just seems to keep giving more and more.
