  1. Will any of the above work on my cs2511? Similar problem mine wont hold fuel or oil !!!!!?
  2. I have an m26 hydrostat model in the shed. 2001 vintage 2.8 iveco engine most important feature it's orange!!! I really must get it out and used. Its reg as hgv as its 4.2 ton gross from memory. Vw 19 seems a small engine for a machine that carries 2 tonnes but they can only tow 2.5 tonnes. Reversing can be a pain as split window and position of the mirror never seems right. I hàvent ordered parts but have enquired, Hako are UK parts agent and the tea boy usually picks up the phone which never ends well for me!!
  3. Husky 254xp brand new 1997. I used to clean it religiously every Sunday!! Still own it sadly in bits at the mo...
  4. Defo.. only after they have been punished by arb vigilantes first!!
  5. Hi Steve. Sadly yes. Not totally on view as had been grinding and guards had covered them. Cctv shows them drive past, twice, two youths walk up road take saws then walk to the van which comes back with them in they pull up 50ft in front lad gets back out trys to get the 560. Fortunately I saw him, shouted and he legged it and dropped it. Wasnt until i put the 560 on truck i noticed other 2 had gone. Lesson learnt.... 1 even had a sharp chain!!!
  6. Sorry to hear that. They did me yesterday. Stihl ms661 and 365 husqy with a 372 recoil. Nicked from pickup Karma gods we summon you!!
  7. Hi all. Thought I would post as noticed another user has been robbed. I dropped in to do a quote on route from a job yesterday. Whilst with the client the scumbags helped themselves to a Stihl ms661 2015 model. Also a 365xp husqvarna with a 372 recoil assembly. Both had brand new gb bars Stihl 25" husky 20". All on camera but reg not clear so case closed. They tried to get a 560 but dropped it running off fortunately. Silver grey transit swb... bye bye saws Martin
  8. Second that, I am new zigzag convert. Just ditched 13mm rope and dropped to 11.7mm, the self tending, ease of use, built in swivel, great device. Hitch climb seems hard work in comparison.
  9. I have one and dont really like it either, I guess against the 2511 anything feels huge. I wont buy another.. mines now broken, fuel tank has cracked so I will probably sell it. Just feels as big in the hand as a 201t but without the performance benefits.
  10. Congrats, we celebrated 6 months with our collie this week. Cant believe the speed they grow!!! Enjoy:001_smile:
  11. Thanks again to Steve and FR Jones.. The Zigzag arrived and has been great.
  12. Is it me or did I score the Friday afternoon saw... Sick of new kit being sub standard. Mine wont hold its tuning, It seems ok for about an hour or so then wont idle properly again or pick up and is a pig to start.. Its such a light saw I love it but surely it should work!!!! Wishing I had kept the 2510!!!
  13. Wow Thanks Steve, FR Jones and the Childrens trust... looks like I have won a Petzl zizgzag
  14. 2017 models have just been increased in price by £650.00, now more than 18 k with the vat.
  15. Glad to hear it isn't just mine being a pig to tune. I spent a fair bit of time last Thursday trying to tune mine. Just wouldn't tick over especially when idling a while after a cut. I have managed to get it much more tolerable and seem to remember my 2510 getting better with time, just as it was recalled!!!
  16. I feel your pain, we lost our Collie in March this year to cluster seizure's. Ollie the collie, he was only 2 days off his 6th birthday. Finishing the year with our new boy Tig (Below) Wasn't looking for another dog this year but he just kind of happened, best way no time to doubt the decision!! Take care.
  17. Once you have been subject to one of these bogus advertising scams, they try and try again. I fell victim to one within my first year trading, never again but they distribute your number and keep pestering. If anyone rings selling any advertising, avoid at all costs.

  19. Hi send me your phone number i have work in leics notts .martin
  20. Yes be careful around corners. I have one and it has been on its side!! to prove the bomb proof issue, it was working again that day. Parts B-Trac, Vermeer Uk in Wellingborough. Very basic and very good machines but it wont keep up with a 150 timberwolf. Single roller so more snedding than twin roller machines. Flywheel bearings are expensive so make sure you get these from a bearing specialist rather than vermeer. Perkins diesel and kohler petrols are standard fit. Pm me if you need any more info.
