  1. Small ones. Are the large ones stronger?
  2. Went through about 4 Petzls in about a year. Got a DMM on each side now and neither even have a scratch on them!
  3. We work in the area all the time. If you posted a postcode I could pass it on to everyone. It would be freshly chipped stuff though
  4. I’ve never known people on the HC not have to tend the knot for it to grab onto the rope properly. Which is why I love the zigzag so much and can’t praise it enough. (Sorry)
  5. It’s because utility Arb is like the black sheep of the flock [emoji23]
  6. That is a 10” bar on it.... your exaggerating on length again.... [emoji23]
  7. We have two 14m on 4x4 chassis. Being on utilities we do a lot of thorn and hedges and MEWPs are ideal for these. Second best use is to put a climber half way up into a tree [emoji23]
  8. Finally bought this.... love it already
  9. 20” on a 661 is sweet as a nut
  10. Skyland have just started stocking it
  11. That's enough to convince me. Just need to decide what colour... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Have you worn the helmet yet mate? What are your thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Apparently Redwood know of the vault which is why you get a bar... [emoji30] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. Get it all the time with green material. We've got quite quick at opening the chute, taking the side plate off, lifting the rollers put a log between them and then cleaning everything out!! Got a video too but can't seem to put it up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Tachyon [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Personally I find a 576/372/461 size saw with a 2 foot bar on far more useful and manoeuvrable Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Might just go for a 300 to start as I'll have a 201 as a back up. Just need to make the plunge! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I'm looking at getting one too, could you buy an inverter to charge in the truck? I'm thinking an ap200 and 300 to get started? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. A service flight is a power line still 240 V and enough to kill you. Having said that if the cable isn't touching anything and hasn't been rubbing in the past even a brushing with a branch would be ok although try to avoid obviously Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Until you turn the chipper on?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Hottest trousers I've ever worn. They the hi viz type c's though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. As a climber: Looking down at blank faces when there's a big brash pile and the chippers running flat out with nothing going through it. Not starting your saw up on the ground after it's been refueled. Leaving a big log on your rope so you can't pull it up. As a groundie: Climbers who smash limbs off without any regard for the people on the ground. Cutting limbs with pegs or forks at the end that's going to be fed into the chipper meaning the saw has to be started up. When the climber comes down leaving all his ropes and kit everywhere to go check his phone / smoke etc and expect everything to be done before he shows his face. Sure I'll think of some more Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
