  2. Sorted that for you! May's not perfect, but most certainly the best person for the job, can you see that Corbyn would be the ruination of this country!!
  3. oh for petes sake, iv been watching you post and honestly you sound like a deluded child!! you honestly believe Corbyn's speil??!! that man talks out of his backside non stop , and you acctually fall for it! grow up man! see the bigger picture!! You do realise this person were talking about actually said it was a tragedy that Osama Bin Laden was killed??? and you think, that after saying this, and then talking crap for a few weeks in the lead up to the election that he can actually do anything about the terrorist situation we have!

  7. This could be your chance! tree surgery Equipment Wood chipper Timberwolf Stihl Chainsaw | eBay Doesn't seem dodgy to me??? Be interesting to see what price it goes up too.
  8. STIHL 030 AV CHAINSAW WITH 16" BAR GOOD RUNNING USED SAW | eBay Stihl 009 chainsaw | eBay ???
  9. Interesting what you say, from my experience of spider leg rigging it that the equilateral triangle works fine on a pine tree or the like, when the rigging point/pulley is directly above, But this is not always the case with larger, more spread out trees as the rigging point may be over the other side of the tree, what is best to do here? I am asking in view of learning? There is no doubt that SL is a valuable tool in the arb world done correctly, and Dan Holiday sets it out very simply in this video, for all to learn from:thumbup1: ClimbingArborist.com | Rigging | Spider leg rigging system
  10. very very tempting! can you just run through the main differences to a treemotion/sequoia and why its worth the extra?
  11. :congrats::congrats: they kill kids, they should get killed imo or as you say atleast shoved onto an island, but thats too kind imo
  12. Matty, where did you get them from? as what it says on your instruction manual isnt very specific? also, have you got any more pictures of it in situ on your helmet? Thanks
  13. I got one each for my 201t and 660, both are getting on fine, used it on the 660 to cut way more than the full bar length through nails and the lot and it only needed a tiny bit of touching up I was expecting slightly less being so cheap but I can honestly say I find no fault (yet:001_smile:) one niggle with the 12" chain for the 201t is it doesn't have the little lines on the top of the teeth to show the angle that it needs to be sharpened but its no big issue!
  14. Definitely have a look at Redwood Global and see what second hand machines they have, a forst or a jensen would be your best bet:001_smile:
  15. try wix.com its very straight forward and quite cheap with a lot of different templates or there's sitey.com
  16. Very nice!!:thumbup1: what a shame those toe rags trashed it!!
  17. Cheers Do you know if the rake head will fit on the telescopic shaft for the pole saw? It would be chuffing help full if i could put the saw on the end, so use it as a pole saw, take the saw head off, put the rake head on etc...
  18. Id just get: Stein RC2001: https://www.frjonesandson.co.uk/products-page/lowering-and-rigging/rigging-devices/stein-rc2001-single-bollard-lowering-device-available-end-of-june/ a pulley: https://www.frjonesandson.co.uk/products-page/lowering-and-rigging/rigging-pulleys/isc-100kn-medium-stainless-steel-pulley-for-16mm-rope/ https://www.honeybros.com/Item/Teufelberger_16mm_Dead-Eye_Sling and rope: https://www.frjonesandson.co.uk/products-page/lowering-and-rigging/rigging-ropes/rigging-ropes1/teufelberger-14mm-sirius-bull-rope-50m/ plus a few karbiners, and a bag. It not incredibly expensive but will do basically any rigging apart from the really big stuff. Or theres this, which would work well on lighter-medium stuff: https://www.honeybros.com/Item/HB_Lightweight_Rigging_Kit
  19. just looked at them, would be quite useful with the interchangeable heads Multi-head Tool System | Fiskars QuikFit?

  21. why???? fair enough... i would say the same, we dont know the circumstances for that particular fell, so lets leave it be.
  22. Anyway, not to turn this thread into a massive argument Very nice pictures John, what camera are you using? and glad to see you are enjoying yourself!:thumbup1:
  23. Eggs on his first day at school was WAY ahead of all the other 29 kids in the class, he could already do trigonometry, and algebra , and NEVER made a mistake! he was the height of perfection, :001_rolleyes:
  24. i would personally be more concerned he is getting the cuts right, making sure the gob is right, not worrying about how high it is on the tree. When he can get the tree to fall in the right place i would then start telling him to try cutting a bit lower in the tree. Were not all perfect like you.
  25. haha, got one already, This is more for getting twigs and other heavier crap up rather than sawdust etc:001_smile:
