  1. Morning Doug et al. Hate all fireworks, should be banned. Woke up with the start of a head cold that’s been doing the rounds. Frosty with a freezing fog from what I could see on the dog walk this morning. Sharpen a few saws and watch some footy today. Have a good ‘25 everyone.
  2. Top dead centre, the highest point of the piston in its stroke.
  3. Not denying that. He did a little show with Tony Blackburn year or so back talking about their pirate radio days, check it out.
  4. He was dying for a long while, he had to retire as he couldn’t continue.
  5. These are still working well €300 all in.
  6. Been on the cards for a while.
  7. Drop starting will not cure it, but stop it being an issue.
  8. They all secretly hate you and have a WhatsApp group to discuss it.
  9. Well yes, not saying they’re a bad thing, just an unexpected side effect. Normally when your groundy starts talking to you about his erectile dysfunction or whatever there’s a natural cutoff point when you start ascending and flip your ear muffs down, now however, tales of his flaccid manhood follow you up the tree.
  10. One issue is you tend to jibber jabber about nothing in particular which can distract the climber.
  11. Hi Andrea, These people do a lot of utility work and private work in France. I know they also do apprenticeship stuff as they advertise it on FB and are always recruiting. Could be worth investigating..
  12. I have only minor problems with my husky battery stuff. Would recommend.
  13. Yep. There you are.
  14. Wordle 1,285 4/6 🟩🟨⬜⬜⬜ 🟩⬜🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  15. No, so there’s that bit of double standards on my part! Here my plant is the other side of the wall in the barn so it’s unlikely they’d disappear overnight (though not impossible I know) Rural theft is much rarer here. I did have a tracked chipper nicked in the UK on a trailer in 2004, just before we moved here, before trackers were so widespread, though I did recover it. I feel sure I’d invest if I still had a remote yard in the UK.
  16. I think individuals could take responsibility to have trackers fitted to their own machines.
  17. Bad news Doug, for Tom and all concerned.
  18. Clear as day.
  19. Wordle 1,284 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟨🟩🟨🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  20. Exactly, everything’s a compromise, a bit like overcoats.
  21. Did Biden pardon any murderers?
  22. Those rubbery ones makes my hands feel horrible, it’s leather or fabric/leather for me.
  23. Difficult to say with any certainty. If it worries you, take it out.
  24. What would happen if it failed? Meaning what would it damage?
  25. Well done for remembering not to put the triple ellipsis on after. No one will suspect this time!
