  7. Hello, They seem to wear out quick but are good when new.
  8. Hello, I have had experience with this at a hotel near me in Annecy, France. The cutting isn't really critical but I recommend aerating the ground regularly to prevent compaction from foot fall and then feed and leave to recover.   23. Hi, It's a lilac (syringa vulgaris). It won't grow very large and can be pruned after flowering or in winter. Hope that helps, Chris
