    Up & coming?

Tut tut...keep telling him about earmuffs.
  5. Also an ex-pub. I found this behind a plasterboard facade:001_rolleyes: so we didn't even know there was a fireplace/chimney there. Sorry...hijack over.
  6. Was glad he reached ground safely & all credit to him.
  7. Hi guys. Having read the reviews on here it seems this is a beginner needs so have ordered an 18hp elec start cs100. Comes with set of spare blades too for £5,011. Is naming it optional?
  8. Had this from new but sadly it has to go to pay for the CS100 just ordered.
  9. Dunno, prob nationally recognised like arborists?
  10. We had both chimneys swept today for £100 so receipt/cert issued. I've also thought about doing it myself so I asked an ins co (not ours). They told me that if a chimney fire was proved to have been caused by excessive soot, the ins would be void unless proof could be shown that all steps were taken ie, swept annually by a qualified sweep. I've watched him several times & I'm pretty sure I could do it, its just that damned certificate...
  11. Dry & pleasant if a bit windy:001_smile:(yeessss) so far in Kent.
  12. Hey that sounds like my place.
  13. Hi. New to this type of work & am looking to becoming more established in the SE of the UK, so can anyone tell me if its worth becoming 'local authority accredited'? ie have any arborists here gotten much work from doing so. Looking forward to learning plenty on here from others so there might be some dumb questions.
  14. Hi all, new to here as just starting out. Had a great day on Sunday at this wood show. Plenty of experts willing to talk to a newbie so lots learned.
